KABIR'S Pov
[Here , bcz - because]
"No, I'm not gonna marry that girl!" I finally shouted at my mom, who kept trying to convince me to marry her friend's daughter, whom I don't like at all.
"Exactly, bhaiya can't marry that fashion ki dukan, and I can't have that rude vocky tocky as my bhabhi, eww." , Kiaan interrupted in
"Shutup, Kiaan! I'm talking to your brother, and her name is Shayra, keep it in your mind next time before saying " Mom said, correcting him.
"And Kabir, what's the problem in marrying that girl? She's classy, beautiful, and absolutely your type." She said further
"What! My type?" I said, wanting to shout again, but I controlled myself.
"Do you even know what my type is? Do you know the kind of food I like? Do you know anything about me to talk about what my type is?"
"No." , "You know nothing about me, and yet you're saying she's my type."
"I don't want to argue further. Either give me a proper reason, which I already know you don't have, or marry that girl," Mom said and continued again,
"I am fixing yr meeting with her at 6 in the evening today , go and meet her."
I left, not wanting to argue further, knowing that it wouldn't change the outcome.
I don't know why my words didn't affect her. She just ignored me, completely disregarding my feelings.
At 2 : 00 Pm
I was sitting in my room , trying to get some work done , but obviously I wasn't able to...
bcz of what happened in the morning and I definitely don't want to meet that girl today...But why can't she understand this ?
Afterall she is my mom , she doesn't even cares about my choice . Although I don't love anyone , but atleast I also have the right to choose with whom I want live my whole life.Aaaahh...
While I was lost in my thoughts, I heard a voice , "knock knock."
I knew exactly who it was. It could only be Kiaan, who always says "knock knock" instead of actually knocking the door.
"Come in," I said.
"Hey, bhai," he greeted.
"What?"
"I know you don't want to marry that shayra-layra, whatever it was. Do you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as if he already knew my answer. Well, he actually does!
"Of course I don't want to marry her! Am I bitten by a mad dog to argue with mom and ruin my one day off?" I replied
"I have an idea to save you from this marriage," he said.
