AUTHOR'S POV

The room filled with bright sun rays peeking through the curtains, allowing the beautiful morning sounds of birds to cascade in, painting a picture of a clean, sunny winter day outside.

Kabir, who had been sleeping peacefully on his stomach, or rather, had finally found a comfortable position to rest in after tossing and turning all night, sighed in relief. It was 3:00 AM when he finally settled into a position that felt somewhat better, allowing his body to relax before the new day began. Just as he was drifting into a peaceful slumber, his alarm rudely interrupted, prompting a groan as he sleepily reached out to silence it.

After silencing the alarm, he remained on the bed, attempting to continue his sleep. However, being a light sleeper, his efforts were in vain. With a defeated sigh, he woke up, rubbing his eyes now adorned with dark circles due to the lack of proper sleep. All thanks to his wife who made her so addicted to her cuddles  that now , he can't even sleep properly without her.

Sitting on the bed for a moment, he eventually rose and made his way to the bathroom to freshen up and start the day, noting that it was already 7:30 AM.

As he was checking his phone when suddenly his eyes landed on the story that his wife had posted on Instagram and the moment, he opened the story, his fist clenched tightly, his teeth gritting in anger or perhaps jealousy – the true emotion known only to him or may not.

In a swift motion, he closed his phone, tossing it onto the bed in frustration before striding towards the dining hall where everyone gathered for breakfast. Though his appetite had vanished, he sat at the table calmly, completely silent only focusing on his food looking really different from the usual days making everyone present there look at him puzzled.

"Umm... Dadi, I was asking... when do I need to get Aadhira back?" He finally inquired, causing all three of them to suddenly turn their attention towards him, while dadi's lips pursed her to conceal her smile.

"Why? I mean, what's the rush?" Dadi replied hiting on his already paining nerve, teasing him hiding her smirk that was threatening to come on his face maintaining a serious and composed expression.

"What? Rush? Dadi, it's been over 2 days, don't you think that's enough time?" He asked, looking at her in disbelief.

"Exactly, it's only been two days. Let her stay a bit longer; she deserves to spend time with her parents after so long," dadi replied, causing his expression to fall as he realized she was right. However, he couldn't bring himself to express how much he missed his wife.

"You're right, dadi... but I thought you might be missing her, as you both used to spend time together and she also used to bring your tea... that's why I asked," he said, attempting to justify his question.

"It's okay, she's my daughter, not some servant who has to be here for my tea. I can manage on my own," she replied calmly.

"Okay... umm...So please let me know in advance when I need to bring her back because I have to manage everything at the office too," he said trying to come up with a reason.
