HAPPY NEW YEAR MY CUTIES 🫶✨️

"Thank you so much, jaan. You have no idea what you've done for me," I said, holding her face in my hands, overwhelmed with so many emotions after leaning back from the kiss. She wiggled her brows, clearly trying to understand my words.

I removed my hand from her waist and brought it in front, sliding it gently inside her shirt, making her gasp softly.

"I'm talking about this—our baby," I replied, resting my hand very gently over her delicate, soft belly.

"But it was you who wanted to go all raw and rough on the last day of our vacation," she blurted out, making my eyes widen and my mouth drop open in surprise at her boldness.

The baby had surely started giving her mood swings, so I quickly placed my palm over her mouth to stop her from saying anything else inappropriate, especially in front of our innocent baby.

"Okay, okay, no need to remind me," I replied as she shrugged in response. I wrapped my arms around her waist again and pulled her close for a cuddle.

"Kabir," I heard her soft voice call out after a few moments. She looked up at me while I gently caressed her head, her head resting against my chest as we cuddled together. I hummed in response, enjoying the moment.

"Ek question poochu?"
(Can I ask you a question) she asked cutely, like a little kid, and I hummed again to let her know she could go ahead.

"How many kids do you want?" she asked, playing with the hem of her shirt. A faint smile crept onto my face at the sudden change in her demeanor, noticing her shyness. I decided to have a little fun with her.

"Umm... let me think
.
.
.
Five, yeah, five kids would be enough," I replied, making it seem like I had given it a lot of thought while she gasped in shock.

Her eyes widened like saucers, staring at me as if I had suddenly grown two horns on my head. I pressed my lips tightly together, trying to suppress my laughter at her horrified expression.

"Aap . . . Aap pagal ho gaye ho kya? 5 bacche seriously? Yahan kindergarten kholna hai kya?" (Are you crazy? You want 5 kids? Are you planning to open a kindergarten here) she replied after a moment, finally coming back from her shock.

"Nahi... aisa toh nahi hai, but agar bachchon ka mann kiya, toh khol lenge. Unhe bhi company mil jaegi" (no , not that but yess , if the kids wants that in future , then why not? They will also have someone to play with) I teased her even more.

"Shut up! Aapka dimaag toh theek hai? Ye jo ek aa raha hai na, vo kafi hai," (shutup! Have you gone mad? The one who is coming is enough for us) she said firmly, making my eyes go wide in surprise.

"What! . . . Arre, but jaan, I have three branches right now and I'm planning to open two more, so at least we should have five kids, one for each!" I replied, trying to compose myself after her shocking response.

"Arre, are you mad? If tomorrow you plan to open more branches, then what will you do? Make more kids?" she shot back, her expression a mix of disbelief and amusement.

"Ummm... probably yes... not a bad option," I replied, this time with a smug smile on my face, teasing her even more as a red hue crept onto her cheeks.

"Shut upppp!" she shouted, throwing a cushion at my face while closing her eyes. Then, with a determined tone, she said, "We are having only one." A snort escaped my lips at her dramatic reaction, but I quickly covered it with a cough.

"Arrre jaan, kam se kam 3 toh kar lo... tumne vo line nahi suni? 'Bachche aur kacche, zyada hi acche!' " I joked, recalling something Kiaan had sent me on WhatsApp a few days back while my wife stared at me in complete disbelief.
