His breath caught in his throat as he felt as if someone had taken the life out of him. His gaze fell on the unconscious figure of his wife lying on the floor, her face pale and lifeless.

Sweat beads formed on his forehead as his mind went blank for a moment, the shock overwhelming him , looking at his wife in this state when Kiaan's terrified voice broke through the haze, pulling him back to reality and he immediately he rushed to his wife's side.

"Bhabhi, open your eyes," Kiaan pleaded, gently stroking Aadhira's cheeks as her head rested in his lap. Panic coursed through his veins, making his whole body feel cold.

"Aaadhiraaa!" Kabir shouted, dropping to his knees and cradling her face in his arms. It felt as if someone had ripped his heart from his chest as he gazed at her unconscious form, desperately hoping for a response that never came.

"Kabir, sprinkle some water on her face. It might help," their mother suggested, rushing out of her room after hearing the frantic voices of her sons.

Kabir raised his head to look at her, his face glistening with sweat and his eyes red with fear. He turned to the servants, his voice cracking as he shouted for help.

"What the hell are you all doing? Go bring water!" Kabir shouted at the servants, who stood frozen like statues, unsure of what to do.

Kiaan quickly sprinkled water on Aadhira's face while Kabir continued to rub her palms, but still, there was no response.

Kabir's mind went blank as he looked at Kiaan with pleading eyes when Kiaan finally said, "Bhai, I think we shouldn't waste any more time. I'm calling the doctor. You take bhabhi inside." Kabir nodded, taking a deep breath as if trying to gather strength before he carefully lifted Aadhira and carried her into the room.

Her hair fell loosely around her face, which looked unnaturally pale to him as he moved. A single tear escaped his eye, rolling down his cheek and landing softly on her face as he gently laid her on the bed.

The sight of her lying there, so still and vulnerable, tightened his chest with a wave of helplessness and fear as her happy and giggling face flashed infront of his eyes.

What the hell is wrong with me, God? Every time you give me something, why do you have to make things worse the moment I start feeling happy with my life?

Finally! After so many years, I got a family. I have my family! I felt alive, I felt important, I felt precious, and most importantly, I felt loved. So why do you have to do this? Why is it always my happiness that gets cursed?

I... I can't lose her, God! Please, make her healthy and well.

His mind spiraled into a whirlwind of overthinking, racing with all the worst possibilities. He glanced at her, her eyes closed, and felt a wave of despair wash over him. He wiped away the tears that had gathered in his own eyes, blurring his vision as he fought to hold onto hope.

"Relax, bhai. She will be okay," Kiaan said, trying to reassure Kabir.

"Bhabhi might just be tired or exhausted. Please don't overthink it. I've already called the doctor; she should be on her way." He handed Kabir a glass of water, hoping it would help calm his nerves a little.

Kabir took a sip, but the water felt heavy in his throat. He couldn't swallow any more; the weight of worry sat heavily on his chest. "How did this happen?" he asked Kiaan, his voice trembling as he gently caressed Aadhira's cheek, feeling the coolness of her skin beneath his fingers.

"I don't know, bhai. I had just finished at the gym and was walking to my room when I noticed Bhabhi in the kitchen. I thought I would go wish her good morning.
