Kabir's pov
Ufff! I stretched my arms, feeling exhausted after a day filled with back-to-back meetings. A beautiful smile spread across my face as I picked up the photo frame that held a picture of my lovely family.
I caressed it gently, feeling the warmth of their presence. They are my source of strength, my motivation to keep moving forward and reach heights I never thought possible.
This photo captures a moment from our first trip with Kia when she was just 1.5 years old. It was the best trip of my life, and every single moment is etched in my memory and stored on my phone and laptop, treasured so I can never lose it.
I remember how she jumped with joy when she sat on the plane for the first time, her eyes wide with excitement.
And then there was that night in the hotel room, where she wouldn't let me sleep because everything was so new to her.
Despite being jet-lagged from the long flight, we stayed awake together, sharing giggles and whispers, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Still, neither of us regrets that day because our daughter's scribbling board was filled with our faces. It made me realize how quickly time flies.
From the moment Ira stepped into my life like a storm, she transformed it into beautiful, pleasant weather.
I find it hard to put this feeling into words, but it truly feels like magic. I was lost in my world of thoughts when my phone rang, snapping me out of my reverie.
When I glanced at the screen, my smile quickly turned into a loud chuckle as I read the name on the caller ID:
Aadu Don
calling 📞I shook my head, knowing it was just my daughter playing around again, before answering the call.
"Hello, Papa?" I heard my daughter Kia's hushed voice as soon as I answered the call.
"Yes, baby, tell me," I replied in the same soft tone.
"First, tell me, did you complete my homework?" she asked hurriedly, and I realized the reason for her quiet voice. It was our little secret from when my baby and I decided to skip school. Honestly, she is much better in her studies compared to how I was at her age. But today, she wanted to take a break on Saturday, so instead of dropping her off at school, we went to the park and enjoyed our time until school was over.
