Aadhira's POV:-

It's 8:45 am, and I'm still so sleepy. I wake up to my mom constantly yelling at me to get up, as if I have a train to catch or some urgent work. Ugh, she can never let me sleep in!

I groggily open my eyes, rubbing away the sleep with the heels of my palms. My mind starts to wake up, and memories of yesterday's incident flood my thoughts, making my stomach do somersaults and cheeks blush. But then, I hear my mom's voice again, and I quickly rush to the bathroom. And Within a few minutes, I'm out , ready for the day.

I quickly get ready, drying my hair in just 20 minutes, trying to be as fast as possible so that I can have breakfast. I know that once it's finished, I'll have to make it myself, which I don't feel like doing today since I'm already a bit tired.

I put on a simple pink kurti and plazo, wanting to be comfortable yet have an ethnic touch. Since my hair is still wet, I leave it open and make my way to the dining area. I know it might seem like I'm wearing a lot of pink, but hey, I can't help it-I'm a pinky pinky girl!;)

_______

While having breakfast, I decided to check my phone. As I opened it, I saw that I had a total of 25 notifications.

And many more!

Curious, I opened my inbox. There were 4 messages waiting for me. One was from Kiaan, replying to the post I tagged him in. The other two were reels from my friend, and the last one was from my best friend Ahana. I opened messages to see Ahana's dm :

"Dude he is the same guy , you had a crush on in class10th , if I am not wrong" she texted

As I read her message, a rush of blood flooded my cheeks, turning them a deep shade of red. I choked on my food, causing everyone's attention to suddenly shift towards me.

"Are you okay, di ?" Kiaan asked, his concern evident in his voice.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," I replied, trying to regain my composure.

I set my phone aside, deciding to respond to her later. The thoughts and emotions stirred up by her message lingered in my mind.

"Accha, so when are we starting our rehearsals today?" Kiaan asked.

"What rehearsals?" I asked, curious.

"Arre, today is the sangeet, so we have to dance, that's why," he replied.

"Dance and me? No, no, not happening," I firmly replied.

"And why is that?" he asked, sounding intrigued.

"Because I'm absolutely terrible at dancing. I have two left feet, so please forgive me for that," I admitted.

"I will do anything else you want," I offered.

"No, di, this is not happening. Everybody is dancing, and I want you to dance too. I want us to win against the bride's side," Kiaan insisted.

"No, Kiaan, please forgive me, I can't dance," I pleaded.

"Yes, Kiaan, leave her. I don't want to get embarrassed in front of my guests," Kabir commented, raising his eyebrows.

"What! How mean is that!" I exclaimed. "Now I really need to show you what I can do, Mr. Kabir, aka Macchar."
