Unplanned update is here !!
Had a bad day at work , then went to the market and got my brother a pencil box , he has been asking me for the last two months.
Sometimes , somethings really sucks especially when you can't do anything about them.
Also got a hoodie for me from my own , just an impulsive decision , I hope I won't regret later 🙃. I really don't know if I should be happy that I am capable enough to get myself something from my own or feel sad that I am not a child anymore !
Anyways , It was just unusual rant.
Happy Children's day my cuties ♥️
We were standing in the closet as she took out her clothes, her body trembling with fear. She was terrified that if she left me for even a moment, I would disappear.
Just as I was about to leave, she finished gathering her things and suddenly grabbed my hand, stopping me in my tracks.
"Kabir... please stay here... I need you," she said, her voice trembling with fear and vulnerability.
Seeing how shaken she was, I decided to stay, facing the wall while she tied one of her scarves around both of our wrists and then securing the other end to the lock on the door, to make sure I don't go anywhere or leave her.
It felt really bad to see her like this , to see her in so much pain , to see her going through all of that again shaking in fear. It felt like as if someone was constantly piercing needle in my body.
I was lost in my thoughts when the soft, tinkling sound of her bangles and anklets broke through my trance, pulling me back to reality. In that moment, I promised myself to take revenge for every single tear she had shed, for every pain she had endured, and for every moment of suffering she had faced.
We were lying on the bed, her head resting on my chest while my chin rested gently on her hair. As she lay close to me, her calm breaths finally began to soothe my racing heart as I reminisced what a roller coaster kind of day it was for both of us.
Sleep felt far away from both of us as I stared blankly at the ceiling, my fingers gently moving through her hair, caressing it softly.
My mind was filled with thoughts of everything she had been through. Her hands rested on my biceps, twisting the hem of my shirt, and I could sense that she wanted to say something desperately.
I had been waiting for the past twenty minutes for her to speak.
"Iraa," I called her name softly when she didn't speak making her movements stopped abruptly and her honey-brown eyes met mine, searching my face for something.
"You want to say something?" I asked gently, pulling her closer to me with my hand on her back, hoping she would finally find the words. But instead, she shook her head, leaving the silence heavy between us.
I caressed her back softly, rubbing it gently as I felt her close, safe, and completely mine.
"You know you can say anything to me, and I won't judge you," I said softly, looking into her eyes. She nodded in agreement but still didn't say anything.
Her movements on my biceps slowed after some time , but didn't stop completely. She started to play with the buttons of my shirt, and I could sense that something was swirling in her mind.
I chose not to ask, wanting to give her the space she needed, considering everything that had happened today. I leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her head before sliding down to lay on my back properly, deciding to sleep.
