"Kaun sa sach , kaisa sach?" (Which truth, what kind of truth?) I inquired, puzzled by her words, only to be met with a laughter that held no joy but was laden with bitterness, pain, betrayal, and anger - a cacophony of emotions echoing from her heart in this moment.

"kaun sa sach!!! really?" (Which truth!!! Seriously?) "You are still acting Mr. Malhotra wow! I am not even surprised this time. you know why? Because afterall that's what you were doing from the past few months . Congratulations, you've succeeded! You've excelled in shattering me entirely, to the extent that now even my own shadow seems untrustworthy." She spatted bitterly the harsh words that went straight into my heart piercing it.

"I'm not understanding why you're saying all this, Ira. Who told you all this?" I questioned her in a monotone, struggling to contain my rising anger.

"Kya farak padta hai, kisne kaha, aap tension mat lijiye, mai aapko pareshaan nahi karungi, aapko divorce papers mil jaenge, don't worry alimony nahi mangungi, chali jaungi chupchaap aapki zindagi se, aapko hamesha hamesha ke liye chor-" (Does it matter who said it? Don't worry, I won't trouble you. You'll receive the divorce papers; don't worry, I won't ask for alimony. I'll leave quietly from your life, forever and ever, I'll lea-) I cut her off, placing my hand over her mouth, halting her words.

"Chhorne ke baare mein sochna bhi mat warna mai kya karunga, mujhe khud bhi nahi pata," (Don't even think about leaving, or what will I do, I myself don't know,) I murmured to her, drawing closer until our breaths intertwined, then gripping her shoulders as she wriggled in my hold, begging, "Chhodo mujhe Kabir, ghutan ho rahi hai mujhe." (Let me go, Kabir, I'm feeling suffocated.)

"Come home," I commanded firmly, clutching her wrist tightly as she gazed at me with red, swollen eyes, trying to break free, but I remained steadfast.

But when she didn't agree, I did what was the last option I had - I lifted her onto my shoulder and started walking, feeling her fists pounding against my back, shouting to be let down.

I carried her like that towards the car, eventually settling her inside, and thankfully, she didn't resist further.

The drive was filled with silence, both of us sitting in our respective places without exchanging a single word. I couldn't help but steal glances at her, and every time I looked, I saw her silently wiping away tears that streamed down her face, causing a pang in my heart.

I took a handkerchief from my pocket and offered it to her, but she declined. I took the hanky back, swallowing the lump in my throat at the sight of her pain.

The moment we reached , I came out of the car and the opened the door of her side , holding her wrist and walked towards the mansion which was more like I was dragging her since she was not even ready to come infuriating my anger even more .

-----

"Now tell me, who fed this bullshit in your mind?" I finally asked her after entering the mansion and bolting the door loudly.

"Why?" She shouted back before joining, "does it even matter?"

"Tumse ye sab bkwaas kisne ki Aadhira mujhe btao mai AAKHRI BAAR POOCH RAHA HU," I roared out the last words before throwing all the things that were kept there on the table, shattering them into pieces, making her flinch and squirm in her place , as the last string of patience in me broke .
