Evelyn
Elena, Bonnie, and I step out of the car and make our way towards the school.
"I'm not saying don't date the guy; I'm just saying take it slow," Bonnie advises.
"You're the one who said to go for it," Elena reminds Bonnie, then turns to me. "Evelyn, you're on my side, right?" She asks.
"That was true, but I was hoping to stay out of this conversation and just listen," I reply, glancing up from my phone.
"Now I'm saying take it slow," Bonnie shrugs.
"What's with the sudden change?" Elena questions Bonnie. "And what do you mean, 'was'? You were the one asking if I needed help to get with him." She asks, looking over at me.
"That was before..."
"Before?" She looks at me curiously.
"Before...Bonnie said to take it slow," I nod.
"See, Evelyn agrees with me, and it's not an about-face. Elena, you're single for the first time in your entire high school career. It's the perfect time to play the field," Bonnie tells her, taking the attention off of me.
Elena laughs. "Oh, because I'm so that girl. Seriously, what are you not saying?" She questions.
"It's stupid," Bonnie answers, walking faster.
"Bonnie," Elena says, catches her arm, stopping her from walking. "Spit it out," she says as they face each other.
"I accidentally touched Stefan, and I got a really bad feeling," Bonnie tells her, shrugging.
I quickly look up from my phone. 'So if she got a bad feeling from him, that must mean he's a vampire. Right, or am I just reaching?' I think to myself while watching them.
"Is that it?" Elena asks, amused. Bonnie glares at her and tries to walk away, but Elena grabs her arm. "Bonnie."
"It was bad bad," Bonnie says seriously. "You know what? I'm just concerned," Bonnie states. "This is me expressing my concern about my best friend's new boyfriend."
Elena puts her hands on Bonnie's shoulders. "And I love you for it; I do, but I feel good," Elena says, smiling. "It's been a hard year, and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again. And you know what? Stefan is a big part of that."
Bonnie gives a small smile before giving a small nod to Elena. I notice Stefan walking towards us with a big smile. "Morning, Elena," he says warmly. "Morning Bonnie, Evelyn," he greets, nodding at us.
"Hey, um... I gotta go find Caroline. She's not answering her phone." Bonnie's eyes flicker up to Stefan, and she quickly walks away. "See you guys."
"Bonnie, wait!" Elena tries to stop her, but she keeps walking. Stefan watches her go, then turns towards Elena, about to speak, but I beat him to it.
"Okay, well, I need to be somewhere—that isn't here," I say, slipping away. As I walk, Matt's urgent voice calls out Tyler's name, and I glance back just in time to witness a football hurtling toward Stefan's head. His lightning-fast reflexes confirm my suspicions. My eyes go wide. 'Well, that just confirmed it for me.' I think, quickly turning around and walking away.

"World War II ended in?" Mr.Tanner asked. Evelyn had her head down on her table with her eyes closed but was still listening.
"Pst, fyi, our team sucks. They could use you," Elena whispers.
"Can't; I'm a loner," Stefan murmurs back.
