"Where's Elena?" Evelyn was so worried she didn't notice she had asked out loud, making Stefan turn to look at her with wide eyes. He was thinking about compelling her to forget, but he knew it wouldn't work, so he decided to leave and look for Elena.

"Uh. Um, I have to go," Stefan says before going downstairs quickly. After Evelyn heard the door close, she hurriedly went to the bathroom to see if Jeremy's friend was there, but it was unoccupied. She proceeded to examine the bathroom below, but it was also empty.

"Hey, are you okay?" Jenna asks. Evelyn put a smile on her face and turned to face Jenna, nodding.

"Yeah, I was just trying to find something," she tells her. 'By the look on Stefan's face, something is wrong about that Anna girl. What if she took her?' She thought as she rushed back upstairs to change. "Wait, but if she did take her, there's no way I'll be able to find her. I don't even know what this Anna girl looks like." She runs her hand through her hair, frustrated.

"Maybe if I follow Jeremy around tomorrow, I'll be able to find out who Anna is." She sighs as she goes to lie down. Throughout the whole night, she couldn't sleep because she was worried about her sister.

Next Day

Evelyn drove Jeremy to the grill. When they got inside, she sat down with him while he was doing his homework.

"Ten kegs? You know how much damage we could do with ten kegs?" They hear Tyler ask Matt. "Dukes got it all hooked up!" he exclaims.

"Dukes a douche," Matt tells him.

"Yeah, a douche with ten kegs," Tyler says, tilting his head. "Aka, my new best friend," he claims. Jeremy and Evelyn chuckle.

"What's the problem, Gilberts?" He asks, chalking his pool stick.

"Don't have one, Lockwood," Jeremy answers, not bothering to look up.

"Yeah, I didn't think so," he tells him, waiting for Evelyn to answer.

"I-actually, you know what? I think you'll make great friends. Douches gotta stick together, right?" Evelyn asks, making Jeremy chuckle.

"You ever get bored of it?" Matt questions.

"Of what?" Tyler asks.

Matt scoffs. "Yourself." He walks away. Evelyn smiles, shaking her head, and Jeremy chuckles.

"Keep laughing, buddy," Tyler warns walking away.

"Hey, Jeremy, Evelyn." Evelyn sees Caroline walk up to them. "Where is Elena? I have been texting her and Bonnie all day about Duke's party," she tells us.

"Uh, she went somewhere with Stefan," Jeremy answers.

She sighs. "I am so not going to be one of those girls who disappears just because she has a new boyfriend," she declares.

"Who is Duke?" Jeremy asks.

"Some guy that graduated a couple of years ago. And he throws a party every time he comes home from Duke," Evelyn answers, and Caroline nods in confirmation.

"Wait, Duke goes to Duke?" Jeremey asks in amusement.

"His real name is Bob or something. He's a total ass–" Caroline explains but gets cut off by Evelyn.

"But he buys the beer." She nods her head.

"You know, you should come," Caroline invites.

"Uh. Yeah, I...I don't think so," he declines.

"No, seriously. Everyone goes. Even quiet loner little brothers," she tries to convince him. He hums, thinking about it. Caroline speaks up.

"Think about it," she tells him before walking away.
