Evelyn
"Evelyn, welcome to Chicago. And Stefan, welcome back," Klaus says as we step out of the car. "I think you'll like this city, Evelyn."
I glance around the abandoned warehouse, taking in the eerie silence.
"What are we doing here?" Stefan asks as Klaus opens a door.
"I know how much you loved it here," Klaus replies, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. He pushes the door open, revealing a stunning view of the city skyline. "Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days."
I can't help but smile at the sight.
Stefan's expression hardens. "I've blocked out most of them. A lot of blood, a lot of partying. The details are all a blur."
"Well, that's a crying shame. The details are what make it legendary," Klaus replies. "Chicago was magical."
"Yeah, well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I don't remember most of it," Stefan says, walking away.
"Down to business, then?" Klaus asks, closing the door.
"Why are we still with you? We had our fun. Your hybrids failed. I mean, don't you want to move on?"
"We're going to see my favorite witch. If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem... it's her."
"Do I have to go with you to see the witch? Can't I just stay here and have some fun?" I ask, trying to mask my reluctance with a playful tone.
"You can have fun after we finish our business," Klaus replies firmly.
I sigh. "Fine."

"Looks familiar, doesn't it?" Klaus asks as the three of us walk into the bar.
"I can't believe this place is still here," Stefan says, looking around in amazement.
"What did this place look like back then?" I ask, glancing at the tables and the bar.
"You've got to be kidding me," a woman says, walking in.
"So a hybrid walks into a bar, says to the bartender—" Klaus starts, but she cuts him off.
"Stop. You may be invincible, but that doesn't make you funny." Evelyn laughs, pointing at Klaus. He rolls his eyes before he and Stefan walk closer to the woman, who steps forward as well.
"I remember you," she says.
"Yeah," Stefan replied. "You're Gloria."
"Mm-hmm." She rested her hand on her hip.
"Shouldn't you be..."
"Old and dead," she finished his sentence, nodding. "Now if I die, who's gonna run this place, huh?" She gestured around the bar.
"Gloria's a very powerful witch," Klaus explained.
"I can slow aging down some. Herbs and spells, but don't worry, it'll catch up to me one day."
"Wow, that's amazing," Evelyn said, smiling. Gloria looked at her before stepping closer.
"You have beautiful jewelry," Gloria commented, eyeing Evelyn's familiar jewelry.
"Thank you," Evelyn replied.
"Evelyn, Stefan, why don't you two go fix us up a little something from behind the bar?" Klaus commands.
"Yeah, sure thing." Stefan nods.
"Mhm, I don't really want—" Evelyn starts, but Stefan cuts her off, dragging her with him. They walk behind the bar, and Evelyn pours herself a whiskey. Just as she's about to take a sip, Stefan grabs it from her, earning a glare. Shaking her head, she pours herself another whiskey and downs it in one gulp.
