"Alright, I'm here. What do you need me to do?" I ask as I walk up to Bonnie and Elena.

"Wow, you're actually going to help?" Elena chuckles.

"I just need to get my mind off of things." I grab a bag full of stuffed animals.

"Why, what happened?" Elena questions.

"It's nothing. Don't worry about it." I shake my head. I know she doesn't believe me, but I don't want to bring them down with my small problems.

"Okay, let's just focus. We have to make Caroline proud, or she will kill us. I don't know how she does this all the time," Bonnie says.

"Well, because she's not human, obviously," Elena jokes, writing on the clipboard she has.

"Obviously." Bonnie chuckles.

"Speaking of Caroline, I thought you were going to visit her today?" Elena asks, looking at me.

"I was, but she texted saying to just focus on getting the carnival ready," I answer.

"Okay, then let's try and get this done." Elena nods.

Evelyn and Elena are walking around making sure everything is set up right when Bonnie walks up to them.

"The ring toss is out of Bart and Homer dolls and team Jacob T's," she informs.

"Okay, I can grab some from the science club," Evelyn tells her.

"Also, we lost a speaker in the karaoke booth," Elena adds,"

"Hey, it's all good, you guys. Take a beat. Look around. This is a huge success." Bonnie smiles.

"You mean I can do more than just freak vampire havoc?" Elena sarcastically questions.

"Go figure," Bonnie jokes.

"Hey. Uh, Carter, right? You're with the carnival?" Elena asks, getting his attention.

"That'd be me," he answers, walking over to them.

"Okay. Great," Elena says.

"Wow. What do you need, beautiful?" He questions, smiling at Bonnie.

Bonnie giggles. "What do you know about karaoke speakers?" She asks.

"Why don't you show me the problem?" He smiles.

"Yeah, Bonnie. Show him the problem." Elena gestures to the guy, smiling at Bonnie.

"Yeah. While you're at it, ask for his number," Evelyn quietly adds, making Bonnie blush and hit her arm.

"Okay. Come on." She gestures for him to follow her.

"Evelyn," Damon calls, walking up to me. I look at him and roll my eyes before turning away from him. "I know I'm the last person you want to see right now, but I need you to come with me," he says.

"You're right about that. So no thanks, I'm good." I shake my head.

"Yeah, I need you to come with me right now, Evelyn." He gestures for me to follow him.

"Whatever it is, it better be important," I tell him as I follow him to Alaric's classroom. When we get into the classroom, Stefan is standing by the windows, and Elena is sitting at a desk. "What happened?" I ask, looking at all of them, and Elena just shrugs.

"I had a little run-in with blondie...and well, she told me she remembered everything I did to her," he says.

"What? But the only way for her to remember is if she's..." I trail off in realization, and my eyes widen.
