"Great, we're all here." I clap my hands together, smiling nervously.

"Yeah, because you guys slept here again," Damon counters, and I roll my eyes.

"Anyway, as I was saying." I take a deep breath. "I'm ready to tell you, guys, how I...turned," I look between them, and Elena gives me a reassuring smile, nodding her head.

"Are you sure you're ready? We can wai–" I cut Stefan off.

"No, I'm ready. I want to tell you guys now before anything else happens, and I won't be able to." I shake my head.

Stefan nods. "Okay."

"I walked to the convenience store because it was pretty close by, and the weather was nice. I just had to walk," I start.

Flashback

I walk around inside the convenience store, looking for my favorite snacks. I get Lays, M&Ms, and a few other snacks, along with a Powerade. Before I get up to the counter, I consider buying a pack of beer but shake my head, knowing they won't sell it to me because I'm underage. I'm walking out of the convenience store with a small bag in my hand when, all of a sudden, I feel a pull on my arm.

"Damn it, I dropped my bag," I say as I look for it on the ground, but I don't see it. I look up. "What the hell." I look around the alleyway I'm suddenly in and see a silhouette across from me.

"The bag is the least of your worries," the guy tells me as I hear him walking closer.

I squinted my eyes, trying to see him. "How did you bring me here? Who are you?" I ask. He stays silent, but I can tell he's staring at me. "You know I may not be able to see you that well because it's dark, but I know you're like right there." I wave my finger in front of me. "Okay, well, I'm going to go. I have to return home to my family in a few days, so..." I trail off.

I turn to walk away but bump into something. It's a man. I look back to see the other guy, but he's gone, and my eyes widen, realizing it's the same guy. I back away from him, but he grabs both my arms and pins me to the wall, chills running down my spine.

"How did you do that? Please don't hurt me. I can't see your face, so I won't go to the police. Just let me go. I need to go home to my brother Jeremy and sister Elena. O-our parents just passed away, I-I can't let anything happen to me, I don't want my family to be sad again. They don't need that, p-please," I stutter.

He looks into my eyes. "Don't make a sound, and don't move." What did he do to me? Why can't I do anything? The closer he gets; I can see that his eyes are red. I start to whimper as he latches onto my neck. I feel my knees go weak, and he holds me up by my waist, after what seems like forever, he lets go of my neck and looks into my watery eyes.

He lets me go, and I lose my footing. He holds me upright and rolls his eyes before biting his wrist, putting it up to my mouth. He tries to make me drink his blood, but I don't open my mouth. "Drink," he demands. He bites his wrist again and brings it to my mouth, and this time, I drink his blood without any hesitation.

After drinking his blood, I start to feel better, and he stares into my eyes. "Go home and forget everything that happened," he tells me and disappears.

"That was you?" Damon asks with a shocked look on his face. Stefan and Elena turn to look at him, confused.

Elena's facial expression changes from shocked to angry in an instant. "You turned her?" She questions, looking at Damon angrily.

"He didn't turn me," I defend, making her look at me.

"But–" I cut her off.

"Well, he fed me his blood, yes, but he didn't kill me," I state, shaking my head.
