They emerged from the Whomping Willow to a pitch black sky. Enzo & Harry were helping Ron to walk since he was bitten by Sirius in his dog form. Rory walked over to Sirius. He was standing away from the group and admiring the castle. "Hi." she said.

"Oh, hello." he smiled.

"So you're not a murderer, after all then?"

"Not a murderer, a marauder."

"Can't we prove your innocence to court? Drop your charges?"

"No, they won't believe it. Five teenagers words against theirs— it's pointless."

Rory sighed, "So what are you going to do?"

"No clue in the slightest, pup." he sighed, the nickname sticking like glue. "So how did you find out about your true parentage?"

"I overheard Mcgonagall and the Minister talking to Madame Rosmerta in Hogsmeade."

"Oh— that couldn't of been easy to hear."

Rory laughed, "I've kind of accepted it now. It's a little awkward with Cedric but I still love him the same."

"Ah yes of course, you lived with the Diggory's didn't you?"

"Yeah."

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there to watch you grow up. I will never forgive myself for not being there for you."

"It's not your fault, don't worry."

He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her into a hug. "Crikey, when was the last time you showered?" Rory laughed.

"About a decade ago." He joked but Rory didn't think he was joking. He tried to pull away but she didn't let him.

"No, stay like this for a minute, please." she whispered. He smiled into the side of her head and kissed it.

Rory thought it was odd how quickly she had warmed up to Sirius. But she thought it was because he reminded her of herself. She already trusted him with her life. The way he defended her and protected her even though he barely knew her yet. It was admirable— it was a quality extremely important to Rory.

"Perhaps when this is all over— once I'm a free man, me, you, Remus and maybe even Harry can be a family."

Rory smiled, "I'd like that."

"Rory!" they heard Enzo shout from behind them.

Rory and Sirius spun around. Enzo was pointing at the sky so they looked above. It was a full moon. Rory shared a worried look with Sirius.

They ran over to Remus and Sirius held him. "Moony, darling, have you taken your potion?" he said quickly.

Rory watched her dad transform as she was frozen in place. Her lips had parted and her eyes were filled with tears. She didn't want this to happen to her. She wouldn't be able to handle it.

Remus had almost fully transformed and Rory's heart was pacing faster than a cheetah.

Her gaze turned to Pettigrew- he had picked up Sirius' wand and he was pointing it at himself. "Expelliarmus!" Harry shouted.

The ugly thing waved at them with an eery grin. He shrunk back down into a rat again. Rory didn't care about Pettigrew at the moment— she turned back to Remus and saw him now as a werewolf.

"Run!" Sirius shouted. Enzo grabbed Rory's hand but she let go. Remus sent Sirius flying off of the cliff.

"Dad!" Rory exclaimed. Remus stepped closer to them but was soon interrupted by Snape.
