➵ HO HEY - THE LUMINEERS
'So show me family.'Rory woke up on the forest green velvet sofa sat by the crackling fireplace of the common room. It had been two weeks since the full moon and the scars on her face were slightly healing. She looked around her and Enzo was folded up on an armchair. She smiled to herself— he had sacrificed a good nights sleep for her.
She removed the blanket from her body and sat up. Rory groaned as her back clicked and sent a wave of pain up her spine. She had accidentally woken Enzo up from her large groan.
"You okay?" he asked, his eyes still glued shut.
She laughed weakly, "Yeah, just hurt my back."
He sighed with relief, "Did you sleep well? You refused to go up to your dorm so I gave up and just let you sleep down here."
Rory chuckled, "Yeah, I did actually."
He smiled, "That's good,"
She groaned, "I need to get a shower."
Rory and Enzo had fallen asleep in the common room after spending hours on homework. They spent the majority of the time talking and laughing- which pushed their (very late) homework back further into the night.
Rory peeled the fluffy blanket off her body and gradually stood up. Enzo kissed her forehead and she smiled. He pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and placed his hand on her warm cheek.
"I am so proud of you, gorgeous."
Rory leant into his alluring warmth and kissed his surprisingly soft lips. "Bit random." she chuckled. "But I love you." she smiled, her face inches from his.
"I love you more." he whispered, sending sparks through her pure heart.

After Rory had gotten out of her shower, she got dressed and went back down to the common room. When she went back down, Daphne, Pansy, Mattheo, Theo, Enzo and Lexi were there too.
"Hi rors," Mattheo grinned, chucking an arm around her shoulder.
"Hello Mattheo." she smiled back.
"Oh! Rory! There you are! Do you want to come to our campfire this evening?" Daphne ushered.
Rory smiled, "Of course I would!"
Daphne's grin grew further, "Wicked. It's going to be by the lake and it'll start at six since that's when it starts to get dark."
"Who's going?"
"Us lot, Flint and his mates, a few Gryffindors like the Weasleys and Dean Thomas- you know, that lot. Your brother is coming too I think— I'm not exactly sure how many but it's fine."

The following evening, Rory got changed into a cozy grey tracksuit with her black converse on. As it was early October, there was a chill in the air so she decided to put on a green Slytherin gilet over the top.
Pansy wore an outfit very similar, a black tracksuit instead. Despite Rory's advice, Pansy decided not to wear a coat— which Rory knew she would regret doing later on in the evening.
They headed down to the lake, agreeing to meet the boys there as well. Pansy looped her arm through Rory's as they strolled through the castle. It was a Saturday— meaning that curfew was later- so they didn't have to worry about sneaking past Snape's office.
Once they got down to the lake, they realised they were the last two people there. "Are we late?" Pansy whispered.
"Looks like it. Just blend in, nobody will even notice we're late." Rory whispered back. The girls slyly joined the crowd, Rory hiding behind the large figure of her brother.
