"Rory! Hurry up! We're leaving in five minutes!" Victoria shouted from downstairs.

"Coming!" Rory shouted back.

She quickly shoved her pyjamas in her hand luggage for the train and grabbed her dark green converse. She tied the laces as quick as possible and scanned her bedroom to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything. Rory ran down the stairs to see Victoria, Remus and Cedric waiting by the front door. "Sorry!" she exclaimed.

"About time." Cedric said, rolling his eyes.

Rory laughed and turned to Remus, "Oh, hi Dad."

He smiled, "Thought I might and come and see you off."

Rory smiled, "We better hurry then because I want a good seat on the train."

Rory and Pansy met by platform ten and went through platform nine and three quarters almost every year. Rory looked around to see if she was there yet but there was no sign of her. "Ugh, where is she?" Rory groaned.

"I agreed to meet Eddie on the train— can I just go now?" Cedric asked.

"Yeah, if you want to." Victoria shrugged.

He hugged his mother and she gave him her annual pep-talk. He then walked over to Rory and embraced her in his arms. "Let me know if you need me, okay? And do me a favour, don't murder Charlotte on the train."

Rory laughed, "No promises."

"I'll see you at Hogwarts then?"

"Yeah." she smiled. He ruffled her hair and walked away from them all. He ran through the platform wall and entered the bustling crowd.

"Rory!" Pansy exclaimed.

Rory span around to see none other other than her best friend. Her face lit up and she ran towards Pansy. They hugged so tightly that they almost fell over. They both laughed as they messily embraced each other.

"Oh my god, I missed you so much!" Pansy laughed, out of breath.

Rory laughed, also very out of breath. Pansy took a minute to stare at the cuts on her face. Rory couldn't help but get slightly embarrassed. "Merlin, they look nasty." Pansy scrunched her face up.

"They are."

"Pansy!" Victoria smiled.

"Mrs Diggory." Pansy smiled back.

"You know you can call me Vicky."

Pansy laughed and nodded. "Nice to see you again, Pansy." Remus nodded with a friendly smile.

"You too, Professor."

"Please, call me Remus."

Pansy's mother conversed with Remus and Victoria as Rory and Pansy had their own conversation. "Are you gonna tell the boys about the transformation?" Pansy asked.

"Well I'm going to have to at some point. They may be thick as a wall but even they aren't stupid enough to see that these cuts weren't here before the holidays."

"Are they just on your face?"

"Nah, I still have loads on my back. I had a few on my legs and stomach but mum sorted them out. Apparently the ones on my face are gonna be permanent."

Pansy frowned, "Come on, we need to get an empty carriage."

They walked through the enchanted wall and emerged onto the busy platform. Just like every year, there were mothers sobbing and hugging their children, children running about the place and the familiar loud voice of their friendly gamekeeper, Hagrid; "Firs' yers to the front!" he exclaimed.
