Rory walked off the quidditch pitch, arm-in-arm with Lexi. They had beaten Gryffindor by ten points. Harry grabbed the snitch but luckily, Slytherin had a hundred and sixty more points than Gryffindor before Harry caught it so they had won.

Rory was still buzzing with adrenaline even after she had showered and gotten changed. Her wins were what prided her the most.

"That was the closest game I've ever experienced," Lexi laughed.

Rory chuckled, "Thank god for Mattheo then, huh?"

Lexi smiled, "I suppose so."

The girls walked out of the changing rooms and up to their common room. "Where is everyone?" Rory asked, her brows furrowing at the barren room.

"Oh! Tracey told me to meet them where the the goblet of fire is because loads of students are putting their names in tonight apparently."

Rory nodded, "Pansy is probably down there, you know how much she loves a good bit of gossip."

Lexi laughed, "Shall we go down as well then?"

"Yeah, might as well."

As they begun walking, Rory spotted Pansy look around suspiciously and walk into the Gryffindor common room. "Was it just me or did Pansy just walk into the Gryffindor common room?" Lexi exclaimed.

Rory furrowed her eyebrows, "Why would she go in there? She doesn't have any Gryffindor friends."

"Maybe there's a boy she hasn't told you about."

"No, Pansy tells me everything. She was the first person that knew about me and Enzo."

"She'll probably tell you about it later, don't stress about it."

Rory shrugged it off and walked into the room of requirement where the goblet was. Rory smiled and sat down next to Enzo. Lexi went over to Tracey and Daphne who were talking to Angelina Johnson. "You played amazing, love." Enzo smiled.

She shrugged, "Mattheo was the reason we won, really." she sighed deeply and rested her head on her boyfriend's shoulder. "Why are you all down here?"

"Dunno, everyone else was here so me and Draco just followed along. Mattheo, Blaise and Theo are still in the changing rooms I think."

"I still haven't spoken to Cedric. He sent me a few messages yesterday but I was too scared to reply."

"What was he saying?"

"Things like 'How could you' and 'Why would you tell everyone?' I think the word has been spread and twisted."

"Explain that to him— he probably believes the rumours."

Rory shrugged, "Maybe. Either way, though, he'll come round. He always does."

Mattheo, Blaise and Theo strolled proudly into the room and sat next to them on the newly added benches. "Well done, Mattheo. You were amazing," Rory smiled as he sat down next to her.

"Thanks, rors. The gryffindor chasers are shit."

Rory laughed, "Clearly."

Rory's heart dropped when Cedric walked into the room, surrounded by a group of eager Hufflepuffs. He was going to put his name in the cup. "Go on Ced!" Cedric's best friend, Eddie, cheered.

Cedric laughed and put his name in the cup. His friends cheered and jumped up and down with him. Rory's jaw tensed and she tilted her head back in anger. If this was some way to get back at her for all the rumours he heard, it was a shit move, Rory thought. She rubbed a frustrated hand over her face and groaned. "Rory—" Enzo said but she ignored him.
