➵ HEAD OVER HEELS- TEARS FOR FEARS
'something happens and i'm head over heels'"Come on, Rory!" Mattheo belted from about 15 feet below. Rory pushed herself even further on her broom, speeding up. She was neck-and-neck with the Ravenclaw seeker, Cho Chang.
She had been talking to her brother at lot recently, leading Rory to believe she had a crush on him— he seemed to of liked her back though. That was a good thing, Cedric needed something to take his mind off of everything going on. Normally, Rory would be happy for him but seeing as she was inches away from hexing her off her broom right now, it was a little difficult.
Rory's fingers slipped around the snitch and the crowd erupted into roars. Rory winked at Cho and she rolled her eyes. She had adrenaline flowing through every single one of her veins. "Diggory does it again! Slytherin win 190-60!" Lee Jordan exclaimed.
Rory lowered her broom down to the level of the stands. Enzo, Draco & Pansy were cheering louder than anyone. Cedric was grinning and clapping, standing next to Eddie and Enzo.
Rory always loved seeing Cedric and Enzo getting along. They did when they were younger but they grew apart as Rory and Enzo got closer.
She lowered even more and jumped off her firebolt broom. Before she even got the chance to move, Mattheo, Theo, Blaise and Lexi surrounded her with cheers. Rory laughed as they praised her. "You are absolutely brilliant, Rory!" Blaise smiled.
"You never fail to amaze me." Lexi grinned.
After they had all calmed down, they walked off the pitch with the blaring crowd behind them. Rory's arm was linked with Theo's but as he was so tall, she had to reach up a bit further. Theo had always been the tallest of the group.
They went their separate ways into the girls & boys changing rooms. Rory and Lexi took off their jerseys and grabbed their stuff from their dark-green lockers.
"How do you do it, Rory?" Lexi asked as they headed to the Slytherin common room.
"Do what?" Rory replied, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Win like almost every match."
"Oh stop it."
"No, your talent needs to be recognised! You're the main reason we have so many wins. We're literally one win away from overruling Gryffindor."
Rory smiled and tucked her hair behind her ears. "Well, Quidditch is my form of therapy I guess. My insomnia is so bad that I end up saving up all of my energy for matches."
Lexi nodded slowly, "How many wins do you have compared to Potter?"
"I have thirty-nine and he has forty."
"Merlin! That's amazing! Doesn't your brother only have like twenty two? Chang only has fourteen- she isn't a brilliant seeker, that's for sure."
Rory chuckled, "It's not just me that helps us win, you guys play a massive part in matches."
"Yeah, but we don't win as many points as you do when you catch the snitch. You have to be a certain level of good at quidditch to be able to be a seeker. You have to have a lot of patience."
Rory laughed, "You see Lexi, that's what makes me such a good seeker. I have zero patience. I use it to my advantage. When I'm up there, I analyse every single move of the other team. It's like I channel the impatience into passion."
"Blimey, Rory."

The morning after the quidditch match, Rory's legs were killing her. One early December morning, Mcgonagall had gathered some students in one of the halls.
