Chapter 28

Mila's POV

The next three races went by quickly. I had finally moved into my new house and beginning the next chapter of my life. We had back to back races in Austria. The first race was done. It was the Thursday before the second race in Austria. It was the 1st July. Daniel's birthday.

I woke up around 8:30am at the hotel. We didn't need to be at the circuit till 10am. Even though he had media commitments I still wanted to give him the best day possible.

I lay in bed looking over at Daniel sleeping. He looked so peaceful and I didn't want to wake him.

Daniel began stirring and I saw his eyes open. He smiled at me as soon as our eyes met.

"Good Morning," Daniel said to me.

"Morning and happy birthday," I said to him.

"Thank you," he said.

Daniel leant in to kiss me softly and I kissed him back.

"I wish we didn't need to do media today. I want to spend the whole day with you," Daniel said.

"I've got stuff planned. We will have plenty of time don't worry," I said.

"And what are we doing?" He asked.

"You'll have to wait and see," I said.

Daniel smiled before he laid me back and climbed on top of me.

"You know if it's your birthday you're meant to get whatever you want," Daniel said.

"And what do you want?" I asked him.

"To bury myself inside you,"

I smiled at him before burying my head in his shoulder. As much as I wanted too we needed to get ready.

"Then I guess you'll just have to be patient," I whispered.

Daniel kissed my neck softly before giggling.

"You're killing me," He said.

"Don't worry today is going to be everything I hope you want," I said.

Daniel rolled off me and I smiled.

"I did get you a gift but I want you to open it later. When it's just the two of us," I said to him.

"You didn't need to get me anything. I have everything I need. I have you," he said.

"Come on let's get ready and we can go to the paddock and have some breakfast. Michael will be here soon," I said.

"At least say I can shower with you?" He asked.

"Yes,"

We got out of bed and headed for a shower. We managed to keep our hands to ourselves as we showered and got ready. As we finished getting ready Michael came into his room.

"Morning," Michael said to me.

"Good Morning," I said.

"Daniel getting ready?" He asked.

"Yeah just finishing,"

"So have you planned much for his birthday?"

"A few things. But I'm not going to tell you cause no doubt he's listening in,"

Daniel walked out the bathroom with a giggle.

"Here's me thinking I was going to find out," Daniel said.

"Happy Birthday Daniel," Michael said to him.

"Thanks mate," he said.

We headed to the track and when we got to the motorhome we sat with Lando, Jon and Ana. I smiled at Ana and she got up to give me a hug.
