Episode 70

At the top of Victory Road 

Adam, Ava, and Jade look through an old family photo album while waiting for the others 

Ava: And that's Aidan when he was just a baby. That's Aidan taking his first steps... 

Adam: That's Aidan trying a Pecha Berry for the first time. It was pretty sour for him. 

Jade: giggles Look at that wittle face. 

Ava: Here's Aidan's first exposure to rain. And here's Aidan taking a bath after tripping into a mud puddle. 

Adam: He was not happy about that. 

Jade: I imagine. But, he still seems, happy here. He did have some great parents growing up. At least until, well you know. 

Ava: Of course, even now that Team Plasma is gone and done, it still pains me that we were taken away from our son. 

Adam: Him having to fend for himself while we were helpless to do anything feels so sickening to me to this day. 

Jade: ... Did he, tell you guys about his past? What he did while you were gone? 

Ava: Bits and pieces yes. I could feel the pain and anguish in his heart when he spoke though. It must have been so hard for him. 

Jade: Even considering how he's killed Team Plasma grunts before, and said that he'd do it again when he went full emo once he knew you were working for Team Plasma? 

Adam: ... It's not something a parent wants to hear from their child. This once, sweet, caring kid that you raised the best you can, going down a path of hatred and volition is an awful feeling. 

Ava: But at the same time, I don't think I can be mad at him. Even if we weren't conscious doing it, Adam and I both did horrible things under Team Plasma's control. So in a way, all of us are bad Pokémon. 

Jade: Sure, but, that shouldn't be how the world sees you. Maybe you can't undo your actions of the past, and the present may look bleak, but you are the ones that can change the future and make things better. You guys are reunited with each other after 5 years, you should not only be happy about that, but use this as a chance to move forward and build a new image for you guys. Not as monsters, but family that will do whatever it takes to keep others safe. 

Ava: Oh Jade, you're such a sweet girl. I'm glad you got to meet our son and his friends. 

Adam: It's thanks to you and the others that Unova is saved and we're here now. I'm glad we got the chance to know you guys. 

Jade: Aw, thanks guys. 

Adam: whispers to Jade Oh, and, don't tell Ava, but, if you and Aidan ever wanted to be, 'more than friends' you have my support. gets bonked by Ava 

Ava: I heard that. But, whispers to Jade I wouldn't be against you dating our son wink 

Jade: starts blushing Ah, w-well, um. I mean, I do have a cool name for us. 'Jaidan' You know, like that animation Youtuber, Jaidan Animation? 

suddenly, the rest of the group arrives 

McFly: Hey what you guys talking about? 

Jade: NOTHING! Nothing at all! J-Just, um, reading? 

Ontario: Oh what are you reading? 

Aidan: Wait is that my old photo album? 

Adam: Um, yes? the book flies out of Adam's hands by Jade's tail, but Harmony catches it with her physic powers 

Pignati: Nice save Harmony. 

Harmony: Thank you. 

Jade: Yes. Thank you. 

Lasagna: Ok, we can talk about old books later. Let's go take on the Elite 4 and champion. 

Ontario: Yeah! Go get 'um guys! 

Sasha: I have complete faith in you guys. 

Shanir: I've seen all of you evolve since the start, you're ready. 

Pignati: Well then, let's do this. Together.
