On Team Plasma's Ship 

Grunt: Ha! You think you can beat me? Think again! 

Pignati: Please, we've dealt with many grunts before. You should be a piece of cake. 

Grunt: I'm just surprised you got here in the first place. Our roadblock was perfect! We had that Crustle under mind control to keep him from moving. How did you move him!? 

McFly: That's the neat part, we didn't. 

Grunt: What? 

Lasagna: Cause I'm right here. 

Grunt: What the...!? 

Lasagna: You think you can just take control of my mind and force me to sit for all eternity. Think again. I'm stronger than you might expect. Now show me what you got. 

Grunt: Fine. Have at it! 

one Pokemon battle later 

Grunt: Damn, I've been defeated. But I can't fall here. I must make my retreat. leaves 

Lasagna: And good riddance to you. 

Jade: Lasagna, that was awesome! 

Aidan: Not bad for your first battle. 

Lasagna: Thanks guys. Really appreciate that. Felt great to stick it to Team Plasma. 

Harmony: You said previously that you were being mind controlled by them, correct? 

Lasagna: Yeah. Team Plasma started snatching up a bunch of Crustles like myself to use as roadblocks. Our rocky shells are so tough most things can't get past it. And to keep us still they used this mind control device that was drilled into our shells. Thankfully when you guys used that machine, the device broke freeing me. 

Shanir: But then why did you fight us? 

Lasagna: I thought you were Team Plasma and I wanted to stick it to them. Those guys ruined my life and the lives of my Crustle friends you know. 

Aidan: I know how you feel. My parents were stolen by Team Plasma 5 years ago and turned into Umbreons. But we got them back on our side. 

Pignati: And I have no doubt we'll help free your friends as well Lasagna. 

Lasagna: Thanks guys. Say, where are your Umbreon parents Aidan? 

Aidan: Well, they're off searching for a friend of ours that got lost. I'll introduce them to you once they come back. 

Lasagna: Sound good. Now then, let's go stick it to Team Plasma. 

McFly: Indeed. 

meanwhile in an unknown location 

Ontario: walking very slowly due to lack of energy. He looks around for any kinds of food or water, but soon collapses from exhaustion. As his eyes close, an unknown figure reaches out to him and pulls him towards them. When Ontario regains consciousness, he sees that he is in some sort of hammock made from vines. He looks around and spots a familiar snake-like figure S-Shanir? 

Sasha: Not exactly. It's Sasha. 

Ontario: tries to sit up, but Sasha uses her vines to keep him lying down 

Sasha: Hey, don't sit up just yet. You need energy first. Here, eat some of this. feeds him a spoonful of curry 

Ontario: swallows the curry Mmmh. That is tasty. 

Sasha: It's a recipe I came up with on my own back when I was at the starter center. I wasn't the biggest fan of the food they gave us, so I made my own. 

Ontario: It's delicious. 

Sasha: Thanks. Here, eat up to get your energy back. 

Ontario: while eating Where are we? 

Sasha: Undella Bay. Opposite of Undella City. I wasn't sure where else to go, so I settled here. 

Ontario: But, aren't you working for Team Plasma? 

Sasha: I used to. But after I freed Aidan's parents, Shimmer called me a traitor and tried to freeze me to death. I escaped by evolving into a Serperior and launched out of an escape pod from the flying ship that attacked Opelucid City. 

Ontario: So that's how you ended up in Humilau City. 

Sasha: Yup. I had a feeling I wasn't going to be welcomed by you guys once Shanir came back, but it felt nice to, actually be with a loving family. 

Ontario: ... 

Sasha: Something on your mind? 

Ontario: N-No. It's fine. I just, need to keep eating. Thanks for rescuing me. 

Sasha: Anytime, little bro. 

Ontario: ... turns his head away and says to himself Does she really mean that, or is she lying? What even is a 'family' at this point? continues eating
