With the world saved from Team Plasma and Blaise and her team are the new champions of Unova, the group resides in Blaise's house reflecting on their journey

Pignati: Man, it feels almost like yesterday when I was just a Tepig and started on my journey with my trainer.

Shanir: I guess Ontario and I made the right choice in joining you.

Ontario: Yeah, who knows what could have happened.

McFly: There's a lot of possibilities out there, but honestly that's too heavy for me to process.

Aidan: Well I'm glad I got to join you, since I got to save my parents and return them to Castelia Park.

Sasha: How are they readjusting to their old home?

Jade: Pretty well honestly. The other mons there were a bit confused seeing them again, but they came around pretty quickly.

Harmony: I predict that they will return to their natural way of life in a short time.

Lasagna: Well I'm just glad my friends are no longer being used as mindless roadblocks.

Pignati: sighs Life is good I tell you.

suddenly, the TV turns on with breaking news

Reporter: This is a breaking news update coming from Professor Juniper's housing center for starter Pokémon. Several Tepigs and Oshawatts were mysteriously stolen in the middle of the night with no known clues as to where they are. We spoke with Professor Juniper herself to ask what the problem was.

Juniper: I don't know how this could have happened. The doors were all locked, the Pokémon were in their cages, there shouldn't have been a way for them to escape.

Reporter: Police are currently investigating the area in hopes of finding out what happened to these Pokemon. If you have any leads, please contact the network to tell us what happened.

Aidan: That doesn't sound good.

Jade: No not at all.

McFly: Starter Pokemon going missing? Why? And how?

Shanir: I don't know. But I'm gonna find out. Sasha, you with me?

Sasha: Yeah, of course. Ontario, want to join us?

Ontario: Um, I think I'll stay with the others.

Shanir: Alright then. Sasha, let's go find Professor Juniper.

Lasagna: Be safe you two.

Sasha: We will. leaves with Shanir

Blaise: walks in Hey guys! Want to go on another adventure!?

Ontario: Absolutely!

McFly: Haven't we already gone on an adventure? What more is there to see?

Harmony: A lot more. A lot, a lot more.

Aidan: Well if it takes our minds off the news, why not.

Jade: Yeah, let's go exploring again!

Pignati: Let's go!

the group sets off on adventure again as Shanir and Sasha look into the disappearance of the starter Pokemon

meanwhile in the Giant Chasm cave, Shimmer in her new Misdreavus form strangles an Oshawatt with her Grass Knot move

Shimmer: Oh, no need to cry for help little one. You'll see your friends again real soon. fires an Energy Ball shot point blank at the Oshawatt, causing the Oshawatt's body to become limp and lifeless. Shimmer then tosses the Pokemon away and moves over to the carving and scratches out the Oshawatt carving Two down, six to go. And then, the real targets will die. floats away to reveal the carvings are of the main team, Ontario, and Shanir with the Tepig carving also scratched out
