Episode 78

In Icirrus City At Night 

Blaise and her Pokemon are seen sleeping together upon reaching Icirrus City. It's a dreary night with a light mist in the air. Pignati, sleeping as sound as a rock, is soon awoken by a strange sound down by the bridge. Curious, Pignati goes to investigate the noise. At that same time, Shantae, resting near Ontario, spots Pignati walking by, before returning to bed 

Pignati: Hello? Anybody there? goes under the bridge Hello? looks around Guess it was just the wind. a flash of lightning strikes and Pignati sees a shadow floating behind him. He turns around and makes out the form of a Misdreavus 

Pignati: Shantae? Is that you? I thought I heard a noise so I went to investigate... 

suddenly, ghostly vines shoot out from the Misdreavus and wrap tight around Pignati as the Pokemon approaches him and comes into the light 

Pignati: W-Wait a second. You're not Shantae. You're, green. 

Shimmer: And furious. chucks Pignati against the wall Well, well, well. It's been a while hasn't it, Pignati? 

Pignati: W-Who are you? Shimmer's vines wrap around his neck as Pignati tries to pry them off 

Shimmer: You know exactly who I am. I'm the Pokemon whose life you utterly destroyed, along with all my hopes and dreams. 

Pignati: ... realization hits S-Shimmer? B-B-But how!? 

Shimmer: Quite frankly, I don't know how. All I know is that I'm back, and I'm going to make you pay for ruining my life! 

Pignati: You were working with Team Plasma! You were the bad guy! And I wasn't even the one who killed you, Ontario did! 

Shimmer: Sure, right. But it's all your fault that I ended up the way I did! Tell me, piggy, do you remember when you were chosen to potentially find a trainer, alongside an Oshawatt and Snivy? 

Pignati: You were that Snivy, weren't you. 

Shimmer: Precisely. 13 times I had been chosen, and 13 times I had been rejected! But that time, that was the time I finally thought would be my time. But no, rejected by the world once again. You stole the life I should have gotten and... starts chuckling to herself before devolving into maniacal laughter 

Pignati: Uh... W-What's so funny? 

Shimmer: stops laughing Oh, I just realized something. If your trainer picked me, her rival would have picked you. Meaning I would have had the luxury of beating you over, and over, and over, and over, and OVER AGAIN! I would have been the hero that took down Team Plasma! I would have been the champion! I would have been the one people admired! ME! ... But no, and what did I get in return? Constant rejecting from everybody, and everything I ever held dear stolen away from me. By you. YOU! You took everything from me! My happiness! My position of power! ... My body. Everywhere I turned I was met with more doors slammed in my face, but not anymore. I'm going to tear those doors down to their cores and take away everything you and your friends have ever loved! I mean, I've already axed 6 of your friends, all I'm missing is one. 

Pignati: shocked Y-You've been, killing Pokemon!? 

Shimmer: That's right. And once I take out a Dwebble, I'll go for the real ones next. And don't worry. gets right up to Pignati's face I'll make sure to keep you alive to watch all of your friends die before your own eyes, so you can finally know what's it's like, to lose everything. lets go of Pignati Till next time. Pignati: heavy breathing out of fear T-That can't be... That can't be true. 

Shantae: Pignati? 

Pignati: AH! ... S-S-Shantae? 

Shantae: What's going on? 

Pignati: Y-You're not green, are you? 

Shantae: Last I checked I'm not a shiny. Why? 

Pignati: ... She's back. 

Shantae: realizes what he means And... 

Pignati: She wants to kill us all...
