Episode 100

In Nuvema Town 

N continues to read the mind of Shimmer with one hand on her forehead and the other on Ghetsis' cane as her memories uncloud and the truth is revealed 

Shimmer: entering Ghetsis' office You wanted to speak with me? 

Ghetsis: Indeed. Please, sit. 

Shimmer: sits down on his desk 

Ghetsis: So, you're that Snivy those grunts picked up a while ago. Along with two others apparently? 

Shimmer: Correct. Shantae and Sasha. We were in one of the centers around Unova when Team Plasma came in and liberated Pokemon from there. They then offered us a chance to join up with them, and we took it. 

Ghetsis: I see. places his hand on his cane Tell me, what compelled you to join our ranks? '

Shimmer: Well, I wanted something bigger in life. I was tired of being rejected by future trainers and wanted to see the world for myself. 

Ghetsis: Interesting. And, how did that make you feel? The constant rejections, must have been really painful, huh? 

Shimmer: Yeah, it really stung the more it happened. But, I had my sisters to comfort me. Well, they aren't my 'real' sisters. We just call ourselves sisters because... 

Ghetsis: Hey. Look at me. turns his cane to face her eyes Tell me, what do you want more than anything in this world? 

Shimmer: looks at Ghetsis' cane ... To, show the world that I do matter. And that no one will ever forget about me. 

Ghetsis: Precisely. And I guarantee you, that if you help us liberate Pokemon in Unova, soon everybody will know your name. You will get everything you ever wanted. So, are you in? smirks 

Shimmer: ... Of course, Lord Ghetsis. 

Ghetsis: Excellent. Oh, and remember, if you see anyone here start to have second thoughts, squeezes the head of the cane put them on ice. 

Shimmer: ... As you wish, Lord Ghetsis. 

Ghetsis: This meeting is over. Go collect more Pokemon for our cause. 

Shimmer: gets up and leaves 

Ghetsis: ... And for my ultimate goal of ruling Unova. 

in a haze of light, the flashback ends and Shimmer is awoken with shivers down her whole ghostly body 

Shantae: W-What happened? Who or what did you see? 

N: ... It's what I thought. 

Ontario: What is it? 

N: My father has always wanted to control other's lives to do his own bidding. Using innocent people and Pokemon to get what he wants, and nothing short of that. I know this, because he did the exact same thing to me growing up. Using my ability to speak to Pokemon to bend their will against them. Make others believe that Pokemon are unhappy living with humans, and using it as a cover story for his real objective. To awaken the legendary Pokemon of this region and rule Unova with an iron fist. 

Sasha: Manipulating Pokemon? Like some sort of mind control? 

Shanir: Like the kind used against Ontario, and Aidan's parents? 

N: And also on Kyurem. The cane my father used took control of the Pokemon's own truths and ideals, twisting them to his own personal gain. Kyurem's actions were of their own, but Ghetsis used them for the purpose of evil. And I suspect he did the exact same thing to you Shimmer. 

Shimmer: stunned H-H-Hu... 

N: takes the cane He used this cane to suppress your feelings, your emotions, the truths and ideals you believed in, and in turn raised up your deep seeded anger to unleash upon Unova. It was only when your spirit was separated from your body that you began to break out of his control, but so long as this cane remains intact, your own self will never be released. 

Ontario: He, was controlling you this whole time? 

Sasha: I-I can't believe he did all of that. All the memories we had, he buried them for his own gain. 

Shanir: Unfortunately, people like that exist. All we can do is not let them mess with us, and console those who were affected. 

Shantae: ... That, ... bastard... grabs the cane 

Sasha: S-Shantae!? What are you doing!? 

Shantae: ... GETTING MY SISTER BACK!!! slams the cane into the ground shattering it 

suddenly, all of Shimmer's clouded thoughts and memories rush back at full force leaving her in immense pain. But once the pain recedes, everything finally becomes clear to Shimmer, who disappears in an instant to process these thoughts on her own 

Ontario: W-Where'd she go!? Where is she!? 

Pignati: Hey guys, we're back! 

McFly: Sorry it took so long, like, a pretty long time. 

Aidan: We did some fishing after returning from the Nature Preserve. 

Jade: Then we went to Reversal Mountain to catch another legendary Pokemon. 

Lasagna: Then we stopped for lunch since we were kind of hungry. 

Harmony: But we are now here. So, did you find the answers you were seeking? 

Sasha: Short answer, yes. 

Shanir: Long answer, a lot more than we all thought. 

Shantae: Perhaps, too much information all at once. 

Pignati: Hey, where's Shimmer?
