In Opelucid City 

Shanir: looking over at the others in silence 

Pignati: Something on your mind Shanir? 

Shanir: Sort of, I guess. I've been thinking about Team Plasma and their more frequent attacks on us. 

Pignati: I know that, but we'll still coming out on top right? 

Shanir: Of course we are, but I feel like they won't be as kind to us as they were before. I've been thinking about this for a while, and I've now decided. I'm going to go train and become a Serperior. 

Pignati: R-Really? 

Shanir: Look, I know that's a big change. Losing access to hands and feet, but I feel it'll be worth it to keep you guys safe in the long run. 

Pignati: You really think so? 

Shanir: I know so. Just keep an eye on these guys and protect them, especially Ontario. 

Pignati: smiles You really do care for him like a sister. 

Shanir: Guardian. 

Pignati: Right. Anyway, you want to tell the others or... 

Shanir: Just tell them yourself. looks over at Aidan still recovering from the other day I think there are more important things at hand. 

Pignati: Alright then, be safe. 

Shanir: I will. leaves 

meanwhile on the outskirts of Opelucid City 

Team Plasma Grunt: walks up to Shimmer's squad who are recovering from the beating the other day Guess this is what happens when you send a Pokemon to do a human's job. 

Shantae: Hey! Watch your mouth mister! You weren't there to see what happened! 

Grunt: Yes, but I heard all about your misadventures to capture that group of Pokemon and let's just say Ghetsis is not happy right now. 

Shantae: Well if he's so mad, why isn't he here scolding us? 

Grunt: That's actually why I'm here. To take you and the other Pokemon back to Ghetsis for a meeting. So tell me, where is your 'captain'? 

Shantae: Her and Sasha are on patrol, so any questions go through me mister.Grunt: Well unfortunately, I don't listen to plants half my size. I'll just take the Umbreons back and you three can catch up sooner rather than later. leaves 

Shantae: scoffs 

meanwhile the Umbreons are seen looking out onto a river, when suddenly, an Eevee whistle is blown and knocks them out of their trance 

Adam: H-Huh? Wha...? 

Ava: W-What's happening? Where...? 

then, a shadowy figure shows up with the whistle in hands, before chucking it into the river 

Adam: W-Who are you? 

???: That doesn't matter. You're free now. Go. Run free. 

Ava: R-Run? But where? 

???: To your son. He's in Opelucid City. If you hurry you're find him. 

Adam: Hold on, aren't you...? 

???: Go. Before someone spots you. 

Ava: Adam, let's go. Let's go find our son. 

Adam: Alright. Thank you. runs off with Ava to Opelucid City 

the shadowy figure disappears into the woods as the grunt walks in and sees the Umbreons are gone 

Grunt: WHAT THE...!? Red alert! I repeat! Red alert! The Umbreons have escaped! runs around trying to find them 

meanwhile in the trees, another shadowy figure looks down, having seen the whole scene play out, and retreats back into the forest
