Pignati: breathes Ok. First real Gym Battle. Wish me luck guys. 

Ontario: Good luck! 

Shanir: You'll need it. 

Cheren: So, you think you can beat me? We'll see about that. Go! Patrat! 

Patrat: Hee hee hee. So, my first opponent in battle. And it's a tiny little pig? Oh, I'll be eating good tonight once I grind you into dust. 

Pignati: Uh,... ok. Give me your best shot. 

Patrat: Well, actually. I think I'll Work Up first. uses Work Up 

Picky: Um, on second thought I don't want to do this anymore. See ya! runs out 

Shanir: You're next. 

Pignati: Alright, let's go! Defense Curl! 

Shanir: Wait, what? 

Pignati: I mean, I could use that to soften the blow from his attack. 

Patrat: Oh, I see how it is. Think you can outbuff me? Think again! uses Work Up 

Pignati: Uhhhhh.... Defense Curl? uses Defense Curlpattern repeats a few times 

Patrat: Oh, I feel so powerful right now. I'll make quick work of you now you swine! 

Pignati: getting nervous Guys, what should I do? 

Shanir: Tackle him. Kill him before he kills you. 

Pignati: That works. uses Tackle 

Patrat: Ugh. I see how it is. But it's too late. Once I powerup again, I'll be so strong your body with be nothing but... 

Pignati: uses Tackle again, knocks out Patrat 

Cheren sends out Lillipup 

Lillipup: realizes what happened to Patrat nervous laughter So, um... you wanna call this a draw? 

Patrat: lying on the ground Just, finish, him. 

Lillipup: Dude, the guy used so many Defense Curls there no way I'll be able to knock him out. 

Pignati: He's right. Ember's him to death, Lillipup faints 

Blaise Wins 

Pignati: O...kay? I won, I guess. Such a weird battle though. 

Ontario: Yippee! Congratulations Pignati! hugs him 

Shanir: Nice job out there. One down, seven more to go. 

Pignati: Yeah, as long as all the other battles are this easy, we'll become a Pokemon Master in no time!
