In Twist Mountain 

Ontario: This place is like a giant maze; I can't comprehend where we even started from. 

Lasagna: I know right, just nothing but brown rocks and tunnels everywhere. 

Harmony: Thankfully, I do believe that it will snow soon. which will allow us easier access to the entrances. 

Jade: I guess that'll make things easier, I hope. 

McFly: Yeah, hopefully. 

Aidan: on call with his parents Hey, how's it going? 

Adam: Pretty well. Things have been a lot quieter after that incident. 

Ava: It doesn't make the loss any easier, but we've been pretty safe all things considered. 

Aidan: That's good. I'd hate to see you guys get hurt again. ... I'll never forgive Team Plasma for what they've done. Even if there are some grunts that saw the error of their ways and want to make things right, they ruined the lives of so many Pokemon. And that ghostly ghoul slaughtered some of them. 

Adam: Yeah, I can't imagine what the other Pokemon's and their friends and family are thinking. 

Ava: Unfortunately, the world isn't always so happy everyday. And there are bad guys and Pokemon out there. 

Aidan: ... If I see her again, I'll put an end to her once and for all. For your sake, and for all Pokemon's sake. 

Ava: Just don't get yourself hurt, ok? 

Aidan: I promise mom, I'll be fine. I'll talk to you later. Bye. 

Adam: Bye. hangs up 

Aidan: ... 

Lasagna: Was that your parents? 

Aidan: Yup. Everything's all good at Castelia Park again, but I still want my revenge against Shimmer. 

 Lasagna: Tell me about it. She and Team Plasma stole my friends and I and used us as barricades against our will. I'd happily show her what for. 

Aidan: Well I guess that makes two of us. looks at the others I mean, I assume we're all on the same page, right? She's killed an Elekid, Trapinch, Sigilyph, Tepig, and Oshawott, so all of them probably want revenge too. 

Lasagna: I don't know. Ontario doesn't really hold grudges, and Pignati seems too thoughtful to jump straight into revenge. If anything, Harmony's the wild card. She could come up with hundreds of conclusions as to how Shimmer's fate should go, so I'm not sure about her.

Aidan: You got a point there. ... Ah, what am I saying? Let's not think about that creep and keep exploring. 

Lasagna: Alright. Back to adventure we go. heads off with Aidan 

meanwhile somewhere in Unova at night 

Shimmer: resting next to Shantae, suddenly has another flashback, when she was rejected for the 14th time 

Shimmer: ... walking silently by herself 

Shantae: Hey, you doing ok? 

Sasha: Another rejection I see. 

Shimmer: walks to a wall and carves another mark tallying 14, before angerly slashing the wall in rage ... It's not fair. ... Why do I have to be the one left behind? Let's face it. No one wants me, or any of us! storms off 

Shantae: Shimmer, hold up! rushes after her 

Sasha: ... looks over at the two, but resides to herself 

Shimmer: sitting down ... You know, if Team Plasma succeeded in liberating Pokemon, I wouldn't have to be stuck in here hoping for a chance at being chosen. But they're gone now. I just out of this miserable life I have here. 

Shantae: I know that feeling. But honestly, I'm still glad I get to share this life with you, so that we can help each other. 

Shimmer: ... Thanks. ... I just want to do something, leave a lasting mark on this world. 

Shantae: It'll come, looks into Shimmer's eyes I promise. 

suddenly, Shimmer awakes from her dream, a bit shaken up. She looks at Shantae still sleeping 

Shimmer: I don't deserve someone like you, ... but I'm glad I have you anyway. returns to bed
