Episode 88

In Pinwheel Forest 

Aidan: Finally, we made it to new territory we haven't yet explored yet. 

McFly: And thank Arceus for that. I was getting sick of running throught the same areas over and over again these past how many days. 

Jade: It's gonna be awesome to see new towns and Pokemon on this new route. 

Lasagna: And hopefully we'll get to meet Professor Juniper in Nuvema Town soon. 

Ontario: Yeah. I can't wait to see her again. 

McFly: Hey, has anyone seen Pignati and Harmony? 

Ontario: They're having a conservation in the woods and told me they wanted to talk in private. 

Lasagna: Interesting, but alright. Let's just take this time to rest up for a bit. 

Jade: You said it Lasagna. 

Aidan: Beats getting our butts kicked by a Simisear, again. 

Pignati: So, Harmony. That thing you were saying back at Dragonspiral Tower, let's talk about that. 

Harmony: Of course. You and Ontario were speaking in a vague way about the fate of Shimmer. The former Serperior, now Misdreavus Pokemon roaming free alongside Shantae somewhere in Unova. 

Pignati: Exactly. I'm surprised you picked up on that. 

Harmony: It is a special gift I have of reading the minds of fellow Pokemon. I understand how they feel even when they don't openly admit it. 

Pignati: So where do you stand? Do you think Shimmer deserves to be redeemed? 

Harmony: It is hard to come to an appropriate conclusion without acquiring more knowledge of Shimmer and the life she lived before, during, and after our interactions. However, if I were to give a decision on whether she deserves a form of redemption,... 

Pignati: Yeah...? 

Harmony: ... I believe in the notion that all people and Pokemon in this world are born with a sense of good in them. And that goodness can then be manipulated and twisted by outside contributors, that in turn transform people and Pokemon to the side of darkness. No one is born truly evil, and those who are tend to spread that pain to others and convert them to their side. In a similar manner Ghetsis did with Team Plasma. He brought out the evil in others fragile minds and used them to his own personal gain. It was made clearer after meeting the ex-Team Plasma units. And if I could read the minds of the Pokemon they used, I would once again have the same conclusion. 

Pignati: So you think she does deserve another chance? 

Harmony: As of now, I am not sure. She has committed acts of murder without the guise of Team Plasma, including one of my own kind. But without getting close to Shimmer, I cannot give you a coherent answer for now. 

Pignati: ... Ok. I understand. Thanks for speaking with me about this. I know Ontario and I have had the same idea, but I'm not sure about the rest of us, especially Aidan and Lasagna. 

Harmony: Only time will tell how our own truths and ideals will turn out, but I hope that we will not have to cross paths if we come into contact with Shimmer. 

Pignati: Hopefully not. Come on, let's meet up with the others. 

Harmony: Of course. leaves with Pignati 

meanwhile in the Giant Chasm, Sasha enters once again looking for a 'key' of some kind 

Sasha: Key. Key, what could that be? looks around for any clues, before laying eyes on Ghetsis' cane Could that be it? approaches the cane and goes to pick it up with her vines. Upon wrapping her vines around it, a rush of pain fills her head as she pulls the cane from the ground. She turns to look at the cane's face, before a spirit appears before her 

Oshawott Spirit: Don't look into the eyessssssss 

Sasha: turns the cane around O-Ok. Now what? 

Oshawott Spirit: Find herrrrrr 

Sasha: B-But how!? Where is she!?the spirit leaves and Sasha is left standing in the middle of the chasm, with Ghetsis' cane in her vines 

Sasha: stares at the back of the cane What is this thing? And why is it so important? ... I need to find Shimmer, before anyone else finds her. leaves
