Episode 101

At the PWT 

Pignati: Man, it sure is cool seeing all these gym leaders and champions all in one place. 

McFly: I know, pretty heavy man. These guys are legends in their own region, and now they're all here to compete against each other and us. 

Harmony: It is a fascinating site to see such different gym leaders from different regions all gathered together to prove why they are the legends they were made out to be. 

Aidan: You said it, these guys can be pretty tough not gonna lie. 

Lasagna: Yeah. Some I could take out no problem with Shell Smash Sweep, but others were a bit too much to handle. 

Jade: Well hey, look on the bright side you guys, I got to compete alongside my two best friends in Unova. 

Aidan: Thanks Jade. 

Lasagna: Yeah, thanks. 

McFly: So is this what we call a 'love triangle' or... 

Pignati: knocks McFly on the back of the head Don't think about it too much. 

Ontario: looking around, kind of sad 

Harmony: Ontario, is something troubling you? 

Ontario: Yeah, kind of. Firstly, Shanir and the others aren't here since they're trying to figure out where Shimmer disappeared to. But also, I was hoping I could get to meet someone really special here. 

Harmony: ... You are thinking about Ottawa. The Samurott of Blair that helped saved the Unova region and soloed Sinnoh Champion's Cynthia all by herself. 

Ontario: Yup. Getting the chance to meet her was a lifelong dream of mine, but with no one knowing where Blair is, I don't think I'll ever get to see her. 

Harmony: I would not yet suggest you put your head down Ontario. If a Pokemon of her caliber is able to stand up to one of the toughest trainers in all of Sinnoh, I am certain she is keeping her trainer very safe. And I do suspect that in your lifetime, you will have the chance to meet her. 

Ontario: Thanks for that Harmony. And besides, looks around I've got an entire stadium filled with excellent trainers to admire. Want to introduce me to some of them? 

Harmony: Of course. Everyone, let us go and mingle with the others. 

Jade: You said it girlfriend! Let's say hi to everyone! 

McFly: Wait, it's a 'love square' now? 

Pignati: Don't overthink it or you'll overload your brains out. 

meanwhile somewhere past Nuvema Town 

Sasha: Shimmer! Shimmer, where are you! 

Shantae: Oh, I'm such an idiot. I shouldn't have broken the cane so hastily. I just wasn't thinking straight. 

Shanir: Look, it's fine. She couldn't have gone far. Only question is where could she be? 

Shantae: concentrating I, I think I'm picking up her presence. It's somewhere north of here. But I still don't quite know where. 

Sasha: Any direction is better than none. Let's keep looking. 

the group continues their search for Shimmer. As for Shimmer, she wonders through Pinwheel Forest with her mind more open than ever, but is now haunted by her past. She remembers her fond memories with her sisters and all the heartwarming moments they made together, but also remembers the terrible acts she committed and the lives she ruined without ever having thought about it 

Shimmer: heavy breathing These... feelings... It all... hurts so much... Feelings, like joy, but also agony. It's all... so much... So much that I was denied from outwardly feeling aside from what... 'he' wanted. 

???: Nonsense. 

Shimmer: looks around frantically W-Who said that!? 

???: Don't play dumb. I've been in your head this whole time. And just like those other grunts, you were none the wiser to my true intentions. 

Shimmer: G-Ghetsis. No, no that can't be! You can't be in my head! 

'Ghetsis': Oh, but I am. I've always been there. Calling the shots, and directing you to aim them at my enemies. You were the perfect vessel to control, a Pokemon with nothing to lose, and nothing to show for when I won. You were such an easy target to manipulate, you almost reminded me of my own son. Too bad I never got the chance to off you myself. 

Shimmer: hyperventilating N-N-No, get out. Get out of my head! tries to fight the pain as the words and laughter of Ghetsis floods her head 

'Ghetsis': Your own truths, your own ideals you held so dear. They were all mine the moment I met you. And now look at yourself. A nothing, with nothing to show for, and nothing, to be remembered by. 

Shimmer: shaking to her core Shut up. Shut up! SHUT UP! SHUT UP SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! opens her eyes and looks around. The voices dissipate, but her shaking still resides as she puts her back on a tree, before crying all alone to herself; a Pokemon that wanted so much, but lost everything because of a person that wanted everything
