Episode 81

At the entrance to the Great Chasm 

All members arrive at the entrance 

Shantae: So, this is where Shimmer is. 

Sasha: And so is Kyurem. 

Shanir: They both have no where left to run. 

Pignati: Time to take both of them out once and for all. 

McFly: But why did Kyurem come back here? 

Aidan: I don't know. Maybe he thinks it's his home. 

Jade: Or it is his home? I'm not sure really. 

Harmony: It is said that Kyurem lacks the aspects of truths and ideals and waits for someone to deliver them to him. A shell of his former self with nothing left inside. 

Lasagna: Pretty sad if you ask me. 

Shanir: Alright. Enough stalling. Let's go. 

the group walks inside the cave to approach Kyurem. While they walk, they find drawings across the walls that weren't there before. They were carved into the stone with such detail resembling the main cast, with X's slashed through them all. The group finally reaches the innermost area, where Kyurem and Shimmer reside 

Shimmer: Welcome, everyone. To your final resting place. In this cave I lost my life to the cold, now all of you will suffer the same fate as me. 

Pignati: Not if we have anything to say about that. 

Ontario: It's ten of us vs two of you. We can take you guys out no problem. 

Shimmer: We'll see about that. Kyurem, put these guys on ice! 

Kyurem begins attacking the 6 main party members, while Shimmer deals with Ontario, Shanir, Shantae, and Sasha 

Shimmer: tussling with the others Shantae. Long time no see. 

Shantae: I honestly didn't expect you to come back. 

Shimmer: Well let's just say I had some, unfinished business down here. 

Sasha: By killing innocent Pokemon!? How is that meant to make you happy!? 

Shimmer: It made me feel alive again. Back when we were working for Team Plasma, before you turned on me. 

Shanir: You turned on them! All of this is your fault! 

Shimmer: I'm getting tired of your ramblings. Kyurem! Glaciate them! 

Kyurem turns to fire at them, but is interrupted by Blaise throwing an Ultra Ball at it, which ends up catching him 

Shimmer: NO! 

Aidan shoots a Shadow Ball at Shimmer knocking her to the ground and against the wall 

Shimmer: struggling to get up Not like this, I can't lose to you guys again. Not after you already took so much away from me. It's all your fault, you turned those two against me. 

Sasha: You did that yourself. You became a former shell of who you once were. A Pokemon with no sense of truths or ideals, only the desire to have everything you wanted no matter the cost. 

Shimmer: And is it fair that I have to suffer, but someone like Lord Ghetsis gets to walk free. Why not punish him instead. Why pick on the Pokemon who has absolutely nothing left. 

Pignati: Because he knew when to quit, when he knew he could do nothing at all. 

Aidan: And as long as there are bad people and Pokemon in this world, it's our job to stop them before they do any more damage. 

Shimmer: ... So tell me, how do you plan to get rid of me? A Ghost'-Type Pokemon. 

Shanir: That's the thing. We can't. pulls out an Ultra Ball But we can capture you. 

McFly: W-What? 

Shantae: S-Shanir? What are you doing? 

Shanir: What needs to be done. As long as she still roams this land, Unova won't be safe. 

Jade: So you want to trap her in a Poke Ball? 

Lasagna: Won't she just try and break out of it? 

Shimmer: Oh, I see how it is. Not just lock me in a Poke Ball forcing me to my own self sorrow for all eternity, you also probably want to lock it in a box and drop it deep into the ocean so nobody will find me again! So soon, nobody will remember me. Is that what you want to do to me!? Forget about me just like everyone else has!??!?!! 

Shanir: I see no other choices. prepares to throw 

Shimmer: looks around You're just going to let her do this, huh?! None of you want to oppose her!? holds back her aggressive tears Fine! If that's how it is! Just forget we ever met in the first place! looks at Shanir Well go ahead! END MY SUFFERING AND MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES WITHOUT ME! 

Shanir: Gladly. 

Shantae: ... NO! 

Shanir throws the Poke Ball, but Shantae shoots an Energy Ball to destroy it, kicking up dust in the air which allows Shimmer to vanish and escape 

Ontario: She's gone. 

Harmony: I am no longer detecting the ghostly presence of her in this room anymore. 

Shanir: Why did you do that!? I had her right there! 

Shantae: stumbles over her words I-I-I don't know. I-It just, didn't feel right. 

Shanir: So you showed mercy to the same Pokemon that MURDERED YOU! 

Shantae: B-But she was my... 

Sasha: Was, our sister. Not anymore. 

Shanir: I know you haven't been back for a long time, but that thing, is not your sister anymore. And she deserves to be taken care of for good. 

Shantae: B-But there has to be another way. A way for her to be happy. 

Shanir: Well sorry to break the news, but not everybody in this world deserves to be happy. turns around I'm leaving. And I'm not coming back until Shimmer is gone for good. Don't bother following me. leaves 

Shantae: ... I'm sorry. 

Sasha: You should be. 

Shantae: ... That I must oppose her. I need to find Shimmer before Shanir does. I need to know something. vanishes and leaves 

Sasha: Wait! Don't... 

Harmony: She is gone as well. 

Sasha: ... I... I need some time alone. Go on without me guys. leaves 

Ontario: So much for a happy ending, I guess. 

meanwhile, Shimmer appears in an unknown area thinking to herself 

Shimmer: internally Shantae. She, saved me. Why? Why her? memories rush through her mind as she thinks back to her most recent pick for a trainer 

Shimmer: Well, looks like I'm up again. 

Sasha: This is your 14th time now, right? 

Shimmer: Yup. I'm not going in with high expectations though. 

Shantae: Hey, raises Shimmer's chin Keep that chin up and do your best. And weather we see you back here or meet up in the open world, I'll always have your back. No matter what. 

Shimmer: smiles Thanks. 

flashback to the present with Shimmer trying to repress those old memories back, but become harder to do overtime 

Shimmer: Why? Why did she save me? floats off more confused and alone than before
