6.) Heated Debate

Time flew and Cheska is already 17 years old, still a student in Wilston International School, it's the first day of school of 10th grade.

She opens the door and realized that she's extremely late, but her adviser, Teacher Nux, didn't care and just happily welcomed her, she was shocked and started to like him.

She was informed to sit behind a girl named Anne, Cheska went to her informed seat and a girl named Gabrielle waved at her, "Hi, what's your name?" She grins.

Cheska was captivated by her beauty and grace. She couldn't take her eyes off of her.

She was so nervous that she couldn't even speak. She just sat there, looking at Gabrielle, admiring her beauty.

Gabrielle looked at her and smiled at Cheska. Cheska felt her heart skip a beat. She knew in that moment that she was in love.

Cheska finally found her voice and responded, "Oh, I'm Cheska"

Gabrielle lends her hand, "I'm Gabrielle, are you a new student?"

Cheska cleared her throat as she shook hands with her, "Nope, I already went here since 7th grade"

Gabrielle nods, "Oh, I was already here since preschool"

Cheska smiles, "That's cool..."

Estelle chuckled, "Hm, a nice connection between you two"

Cheska sighs, "Shut up"

Cheska felt like she had known Gabrielle her entire life. She felt a connection with her that she had never felt before. She knew that she had found the one.

And a year has passed, 3 months before their graduation.

Their adviser entered, greeted each other, and announced some news to them, after such an important but fun conversation, Nux requests some boys to carry 5 chairs in front of the class on the right side and another 5 for the left side.

Nux, their adviser, spoke,, "The students whom I chose to do the debate, kindly stand up and sit, the chairs on the left side will be debating about disagreeing with abortion, and for the right side who agrees with abortion"

The chosen students started groaning in anxiety and everyone else are excited to see it.

Especially that Yohan, Lawrence, and Justin are one of the chosen students, it gets more exciting.

The left side is sat by Cheska, Joyce, Jairene, Yohan, Alyssa, and Anne, the right side is sat by Justin, Lawrence, Everleigh, Summer, and Cherry.

Anne is extremely nervous because she hasn't been in a debate before. And Carla is there, she can interpret it to everyone.

Meanwhile, Cherry is frustrated that she isn't on the team of her perspective.

"So class" Nux spoke, "I want everyone to remain silent okay? While they're talking, you should listen, I am gonna give you index cards for all of the listeners, please get one and pass it backward..." He gave them the index cards first, "And I want you to write what you agree with, if you support abortion, or not"

After a few minutes of preparing, Lawrence stood up first and spoke, "There are a lot of abandoned children in every country, and of course, abortion is not the solution, and of course, and of course if abandoned, children should be adopted by people who are willing to take care of them, why would you have a sexual intercourse with somebody even though you know that you are gonna get pregnant? What are you gonna do? Punish the baby for what you did?"
