Edgar stormed into the room, his face twisted in rage. He pointed an accusing finger at Cherylene and Mia. "You two think you can just keep me from getting what I need? Well, you're wrong!"
He lunged forward, grabbing Cherylene by the throat and pushing her against the wall.
Mia screamed and tried to pull him away, but he was too strong. He punched Cherylene in the face, sending her crashing to the floor.
Mia tried to run, but Edgar grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground. He kicked her in the stomach, then grabbed her by the throat and squeezed. Mia gasped for air, her eyes wide with fear.
Edgar released her and stood up, breathing heavily. He glared at the two women, his fists clenched. "You two think you can keep me from getting money? You're wrong. I'll get it, one way or another."
Mia was backed into a corner, her heart pounding in her chest as she faced off against Edgar.
He had a menacing look in his eyes, and she knew he was ready to strike.
Mia had to act fast. She took a deep breath and then lunged forward, her fists flying.
She caught Edgar off guard and managed to land a few punches before he could react.
Edgar stumbled back, his face contorted in rage.
He charged forward, but Mia was ready for him.
She blocked his punches and then countered with a few of her own.
The two of them fought back and forth, neither one gaining the upper hand. Finally, Mia managed to land a powerful punch that sent Edgar flying across the room.
Cherylene starts contacting the police and they have arrived shorttly.
"YOU WON'T RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM US, EVEN IF YOU CRAWL DOWN BACK TO US BECAUSE YOU'RE SUFFERING, YOU WON'T BE RECEVING ANYTHING FROM US!" Cherylene yelled as the cops took Edgar with them.
"I HATE THE TWO OF YOU! YOU ARE ALWAYS ACTING LIKE YOU'RE SUPREIOR! THAT WON'T LAST FOR LONG IF I STEAL ALL YOUR FORTUNE AND RUN AWAY AFTER!"
After a few minutes, the whole family gathered around to discuss about Edgar.
Cherylene, Mia, Bernard, Cheska, Tonet, Anne, and Louis are gathered in the living room, engrossed in a serious discussion.
Cherylene sighs, "I can't believe how things have escalated with Edgar. It's like he's a completely different person when it comes to money."
Mia nods, "I've experienced it firsthand. Last week, when I refused to lend him some money, he became so aggressive. I was genuinely scared, and it's not the first time it's happened."
Bernard frowns, "We can't keep enabling him by giving in to his demands. It's only reinforcing this destructive behavior."
"But what can we do? We're his family, and we want to help him, but we can't keep putting ourselves at risk." asked Alfredo.
Bernardo spoke, "Maybe we should consider staging an intervention. We need to confront Edgar about his behavior and let him know how it's affecting all of us."
Louis nods, "I think that's a good idea. We should gather our thoughts and feelings, and approach him as a united front, expressing our concern and urging him to seek help."
Cherylene clicks her tongue, "This is an adult's conversation"
"Mom! I'm turning 20 this year!"
"No one cares!"
Mia held back her tears, "I just hope he realizes the impact his actions are having on our family. We love him, but we can't keep allowing this pattern to continue."
The room falls silent for a moment as each family member contemplates the difficult task ahead.
Meanwhile, Tonet, Louis, Cheska, Anne, Lito, amd Toby are just worriedly listening at the side.
