Ava sits at her desk with a pile of textbooks scattered around her.

Frustration lines her face as she flips through the pages, trying to absorb the seemingly insurmountable amount of information.

Her little sister, Chloe, enters the room, concern etched on her young face.

"Ava, you shouldn't cheat on your exam. It's not right."

"Chloe, you don't understand. This exam is crucial! I need to pass, no matter what. You're still small so you don't understand!"

Chloe walks closer, her eyes filled with genuine worry.

"But cheating is wrong, Ava. It's not fair to others, and it won't make you proud of your achievements."

Ava looks away, torn between her desire to succeed and her sister's words of caution.

"I've tried studying, Chloe, but it's just too much. Everyone does it anyway. It's not a big deal."

Chloe shakes her head, her voice firm.

"It is a big deal, Ava. Cheating may seem easier, but it won't make you grow as a person. You're capable of so much more if you believe in yourself."

Ava had enough, "Sketchy?! Are you kidding me, Chloe? How dare you question my judgment! And who are you to decide what's best for me?"

"I'm your sister, I only want what's best for you."

"Oh, please! You always think you know what's best for me, but you don't. You never did. All you care about is being right and telling others what to do."

Chloe reaches out, trying to calm the situation.

"No, Ava, that's not true... I care about you. I've seen you get hurt before, and I'm just concerned."

Ava steps closer to Chloe, her voice filled with venom.

"Concerned? If you were truly concerned, you'd support me and trust my decisions. But no, you just think you're always right. You're just afraid of being left alone."

Chloe's tears stream down her face.

"I'm not afraid of being alone, Ava. I'm afraid of losing you. You mean everything to me, and I don't want you to get hurt again."

Ava scoffs and shakes her head, unable to process Chloe's emotions.

"Well, guess what? I don't need your protection, Chloe. I don't need you meddling in my relationships. I can handle myself, thank you very much. From now on, I don't care about your opinion anymore."

Ava storms towards the door, leaving Chloe devastated on the couch. Before exiting, Ava turns back, her anger still apparent.

"You think I'll cheat? Fine, maybe I will! Maybe I'll do everything you think I shouldn't, just to prove you wrong. You don't get to control me anymore!"

Ava slams the door shut, leaving Chloe in complete shock and heartbroken.

It's Ava's final exam and she has to pass, or else, she'll fail and repeat.

Ava nervously walked into the exam room, her heart pounding in her chest. She had been studying for weeks, but she was still worried that she wouldn't do well.

She took her seat and glanced around the room, her eyes settling on the student in the corner.

He had a stack of notes in front of him, and Ava could tell he was cheating.

Ava felt a wave of guilt wash over her. She knew she should report him, but she was desperate to pass the exam.

She glanced around the room, making sure no one was watching, and then she quickly grabbed the notes from the student's desk. She quickly skimmed through them, memorizing the answers to the questions.

When the exam was over, Ava felt relieved. She had passed, and she was sure it was because of the notes she had taken.

She felt guilty, but she was also relieved that she had been able to get away with it.
