Cheska sits on her bed, her laptop open in front of her. She eagerly waits for a message from her friend Delaney, who hasn't reached out to her for weeks.

The notification sound chimes, and Cheska's heart skips a beat. She clicks on the message, expecting a cheerful update from Delaney. However, as she reads the words on the screen, her face twists in confusion and concern.

< Delaney: Hey Cheska, I hope you're doing well. I wanted to reach out and say goodbye. Our friendship has been amazing, but I think it's best if we go our separate ways. Take care of yourself. Live a long life, you girls deserve it, you, Phoebe, Maris, Julianna deserve it >

Cheska's hands tremble as she rereads the message, her mind racing to understand what could have caused this sudden farewell.

She tries to recall if there was any conflict or misunderstanding between them, but she comes up empty.

"What? Why is she saying this?!"

Fear and panic grip Cheska's heart as she struggles to comprehend the situation. She replays memories of their friendship, searching for any signs of a rift or a reason for Delaney's unexpected words.

"Did I miss something? Did I do something wrong? I need to talk to her. I can't let her be like this"

Cheska quickly grabs her phone and dials Delaney's number. She waits anxiously as the phone rings, her mind filled with questions and a desperate need for answers.

Meanwhile...  Delaney clings to her phone, as if holding onto the last remnants of hope. She scrolls through the messages, rereading each word as if trying to decipher a hidden meaning. The disbelief and pain etched on her face are palpable.

She buries her face in her hands, her cries becoming more intense. The sound of her anguish fills the room, echoing off the walls, and the weight of her emotions threatens to consume her.

Delaney takes a shaky breath, trying to compose herself, but her attempts are futile. The tears continue to flow uncontrollably down her cheeks, her body shaking with each heart-wrenching sob.

Her voice cracks with pain, her heart shattered into a million pieces.

Delaney clutches her phone tighter, as if searching for answers that will never come. The weight of the situation feels insurmountable, and she feels lost in her grief.

Then, Cheska sits anxiously in her living room, her phone buzzing incessantly. Phoebe, Maris, and Julianna, her closest friends, have been bombarding her with messages, all asking if she received the same farewell message from Delaney. Cheska's heart races with a sense of dread as she realizes that something is terribly wrong.

"This can't be happening. What is going on?"

She quickly types a response to her friends, confirming that she received the message and expressing her concern for Delaney's well-being. The replies flood in, filled with worry and panic.

< Maris: Cheska, I'm terrified. I got the same message from Delaney. We can't reach her. She's not responding to any calls or texts. >

< Phoebe: I've been trying for hours. Something feels terribly wrong. We need to find her, Cheska. We can't just sit here and wait. >

<Julianna: Let's go to Delaney's house. We need to see if she's okay. We can get permission from her family if we explain the situation. >

Cheska's heart pounds in her chest as she reads the messages. Without hesitation, she stands up, determination etched on her face.

< Cheska: We can't waste any more time. Let's go to her house. We need to make sure she's safe. >

Phoebe, Maris, and Julianna nod in agreement, their eyes filled with concern for their friend. They quickly gather their things and head towards Delaney's house.
