Gabrielle, Yohan, Jessica, Justin, and Audrey sit huddled together on a cozy couch, their faces illuminated by the glow of their laptops.
They eagerly wait for Cheska's video call to connect, excitement evident on their faces.
However, Gabrielle appears restless and uneasy, her eyes darting around the room.
Yohan spoke, "I can't believe Cheska is finally calling! It's been so long since we last saw her."
Justin nods, "Yeah, it's going to be great catching up with her. I wonder how she's been doing in New York."
Audrey smiles, "I miss her so much. It'll be nice to see her face and hear her voice again."
As the call connects, Cheska's teary face appears on the screen. She looks vulnerable and emotionally drained.
The friends exchange concerned glances, their anticipation replaced by worry.
"Hey, everyone. I... I miss you all so much."
Estelle, Nicole, Fredrick, Darwin, And Bless join the call, their expressions mirroring Cheska's sadness.
Yohan spoke, "Don't be sad, Gabrielle is here, Gab, say hi, by the way, Gabrielle still loves you if you're wondering!"
Everyone in the room got angry at Yohan for trying to make the 2 ex lovers interact.
"Oh...S...Sorry?" Yohan said.
Gabrielle abruptly stands up and walks away, her eyes welling up with irritation. She clutches her phone tightly, her hand trembling.
Jessica walks to Gabrielle, "Gabrielle, what's wrong? Don't you want to talk to Cheska?"
Gabrielle sighs, "I... I can't. I can't face her right now. It's too painful."
Yohan reaches out to Gabrielle, his voice filled with concern.
After the call, everyone started scolding Yohan.
Yohan sits with a guilty expression, his head hung low. Gabrielle, who appears visibly upset, avoids eye contact with Yohan. Anne, sitting next to Yohan, looks disgusted.
Justin spoke, "Yohan, what were you thinking? You knew how painful Gabrielle and Cheska's breakup was, yet you insisted on making them interact. It was insensitive and cruel."
Jessica sighs, "Gabrielle has been through so much, and you just disregarded her feelings. How could you do that to your friend?"
Yohan's shoulders slump, weighing heavy with regret. He realizes the gravity of his actions and the hurt he has caused.
"I... I didn't think it through. I thought maybe seeing each other would help them find closure or something."
Audrey gasps, "Closure? Yohan, Cheska is still in love with Gabrielle. Can't you see how much pain she's in? And Gabrielle wants to move on from Cheska's life. You're only making things worse."
Lawrence spoke, "How insensitive, that's why we create separate bonding events to keep them away from each other, dumbass"
Yohan hangs his head even lower, his remorse evident on his face.
"I'm so sorry guys"
Gabrielle finally looks up, her eyes filled with a mix of sadness and anger.
"Yohan, you knew how much I wanted to distance myself from Cheska's life. It's been a painful chapter for me, and you disregarded that."
The weight of Gabrielle's words hangs heavy in the air, the silence stretching between them.
