Cheska is at the medical center for her medical examination which is needed for her school.
She sits in the waiting area of a doctor's office. She glances at her watch anxiously, frustration brewing within her.
The room is filled with students, their conversations mingling with the soft hum of the air conditioning.
Time ticks by, and Cheska's impatience grows with each passing minute. She nervously taps her foot on the floor, her eyes darting to the receptionist's desk.
Finally, the doctor emerges from one of the examination rooms, engrossed in a conversation with a nurse.
Cheska muttered under her breath, "Come on, I've been waiting for ages. I need to get this medical exam done and get to school."
As if sensing Cheska's mounting frustration, the doctor glances in her direction briefly but continues conversing with the nurse. Cheska's irritation bubbles up, her patience wearing thin.
The nurse finally excuses herself, leaving the doctor standing alone. Cheska seizes the opportunity and approaches him, her voice laced with frustration.
"Excuse me, Doctor. I've been waiting here for hours. I have a medical exam for school, and I'm already late. Can we please get this done?"
The doctor looks taken aback by Cheska's outburst, a hint of guilt crossing his features.
"I'm sorry for the delay, Miss. We've been dealing with unexpected emergencies of these students. We'll get to your exam shortly."
Cheska's frustration reaches its peak, and she can no longer contain her emotions.
"This is unacceptable! I understand emergencies happen, but my time is valuable too. I've made arrangements to be here on time, and now I'm falling behind because of these delays. It's not fair! I have been here from 4 am and what time is it now?! 8:30! I registered first yet you delayed it!" Cheska yelled, she growled through gritted teeth.
The doctor's expression softens, realizing the impact of the situation on Cheska.
"I apologize for the inconvenience, Cheska. I understand your frustration, and I'll do my best to expedite your exam. Please bear with us for a little longer."
Cheska takes a deep breath, her anger subsiding as she realizes the doctor's willingness to rectify the situation.
"Thank you, Doctor. I appreciate your understanding. I just need to get this exam done as soon as possible." Her tone still rough.
The doctor nods in understanding and gestures for Cheska to follow him into an examination room.
Cheska takes a moment to collect herself, reminding herself of the importance of patience and maintaining a level-headed approach.
