Carlitos, Cherylene, Bernardo, and Mia sit together in the living room, their expressions heavy with concern.

The room is filled with an air of sadness as they face a difficult decision regarding Gertrude's care.

Carlitos sighs, "I think it's time we consider hiring a caregiver for Gertrude. She needs round-the-clock support, and we can't manage it all on our own."

Cherylene nods, wiping away a tear that escapes her eye.

"I know it's the best decision for her, but it breaks my heart to think about someone else taking care of her. She's like family to us."

Mia, her voice trembling, chimes in with a suggestion.

"What if we ask Cheska to take Chloe and Ava with her while she's away? Aunt Gertrude is too old to take care of the 2 girls, Cheska has to take care of her sisters"

Bernardo, deep in thought, speaks up.

"I think that's a good idea. Cheska loves Chloe and Ava, and it'll be a way for her to have some support while she's away. Plus, the girls will enjoy spending time with their sister again"

Carlitos looks at each of them, his eyes filled with gratitude for their support.

"I agree. It's a difficult decision, but it's what's best for everyone. We can't let ourselves become overwhelmed. We need to lean on each other and make sure Gertrude's needs are met."

Cherylene wipes away another tear, her voice filled with determination.

Mia reaches out and holds Cherylene's hand, offering comfort and support.

"We'll get through this together. We'll make sure Gertrude receives the best care, and Cheska and the girls will have the love and support they need."

Meanwhile, a couple found Ava and she tries to run away but she was blocked.

Ava witg tear-streaked cheeks, in front of a couple. They exchange concerned glances as they prepare to break the news to Ava.

"Ava, we need to talk to you about your grandma, Gertrude."

Ava's eyes widen, her voice trembling with worry.

"What happened to Grandma? Is she okay?"

"She's very sick, Ava. And we found out that you running away made her condition worse."

Ava's face pales, her hands trembling at the weight of the news. She collapses onto the nearest chair, tears streaming down her face.

"It's my fault... I didn't mean to make Grandma more sick. I just wanted to be away for a little while."

Mrs. Rodriguez kneels down beside Ava, offering comfort and reassurance.

"Oh, sweetie, it's not your fault. Sometimes things happen beyond our control. What's important now is that we take you to the hospital to see Grandma and be there for her."

Ava nods, her voice choked with emotions.

"Can I... can I see her, please? I want to tell her how sorry I am."

A few minutes later...

Ava enters the hospital room, her eyes widening at the sight of her grandmother, Gertrude, lying in the bed, pale and frail.

Tubes and wires surround her, indicating the seriousness of her condition.

Ava rushes to Gertrude's side, tears streaming down her face as she takes her grandmother's hand.
