(Y/N) hugged her legs to her chest on the sofa, staring at the TV with tired eyes. She hadn't slept one minute the night before. How could she? Her mind was flooded with horrid memories that refused to let her go. When she closed her eyes, she could hear the machine's beeping, the smell of chemicals, the feeling of needles and blades slicing into her like a piece of livestock. She couldn't get away from the torture she had endured. So instead, she lay awake, listening to Noah's snores on the other side of the room. She hadn't returned to her room in the UA halls of residence. In fact, no one knew she was awake except Kirishima. She wanted to tell them but had been advised not to until the following Monday. Recovery Girl said (Y/N) needed rest, and that her heart couldn't take any stress or extreme emotion.

Noah exited the kitchen and sat down next to (Y/N). He placed a bowl of popcorn on the coffee table and relaxed back into the cushion with a sigh. "Has it started yet?" He wondered. He looked at (Y/N) with worry, understandably so. He didn't voice it. Last time he had expressed worry for her state he earned himself a lecture about how she was fine and there was nothing wrong. Both of them knew she was lying. Noah brushed it away but knew he'd have to come back to it eventually. Soon enough, (Y/N) would be returning to UA, and he wouldn't let her go without knowing that she was safe, both mentally and physically.

(Y/N) shook her head. "Nope." She muttered. Her gaze was fixed on the screen. "Is Ozuru joining us?" (Y/N) asked. Ozuru was one of the children that lived in the house. He was sweet and had been overly clingy since (Y/N)'s return.

"He'll be down in a second," Noah assured.

The television suddenly erupted with sound. The siblings shut up and stared at the screen, already transfixed by it.

"It's the first chart since Kamino when All Might, the symbol of peace, was forced into early retirement." The news broadcaster began, reporting live from the prestigious event.

(YN) couldn't believe how long she'd been sleeping. All Might's declaration about the end of his career felt like only yesterday. There had been much she had missed. She was missing months of her life. She shifted uneasily in her seat. Thankfully, Noah didn't take notice.

At the sound of the TV, Ozuru came barrelling down the stairs. He said nothing. He launched himself onto the sofa, on the right side of (Y/N) and beamed up at her. She flashed a comforting smile at him before returning her gaze to the news in front of her.

"You can feel the excitement, folks!" The newscaster eagerly narrated. "This is an important moment in the history of heroes! It's the Hero Billboard Chart!" She announced.

Noah and Ozuru cheered with excitement while (Y/N) chuckled. She leaned forward and grabbed a handful of popcorn, picking it out of her hand while she watched.

"In the past, pros didn't come up on stage during the announcements, but today we see something new! Here we go!"

The stage lit up with bright light, illuminating a now empty floor that would soon hold the top ten pro-heroes of the second half of the year. This was the first chart where All Might was no longer part of the running.
