(Y/N) met Aizawa at the doors of the hotel. She was nervous but there was a growing excitement in the pit of her stomach and it was growing with every passing minute. There was a possibility that she was going to meet her real father and it was exhilarating.

She was perfectly content with her family at home, but she couldn't deny that she sometimes found herself wondering what could have been - where her life would have led if she had been born into a normal family. She tried not to get her hopes up but she couldn't help it.

"You ready?" Aizawa greeted simply. "Present Mic will deal with the others so don't worry about them, because I know you will."

(Y/N) smiled bashfully. "How do you know me so well?" She laughed.

Aizawa rolled his eyes. "Your class may be the first I've liked in a long time." He admitted.

(Y/N) smiled largely. "We are very cool." She mused.

"I won't satiate that comment," Aizawa mumbled in an irritated tone, but the smirk on his lips gave away his amusement.

They swiftly exited the hotel, entered a taxi, and were taken to the hospital.

"This is where I was born..." (Y/N) mumbled as they stepped out of the taxi and approached the revolving doors.

Aizawa placed a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it comfortingly. "I know you're nervous but this is why you're here. It will be okay." He murmured assuringly.

"I know." (Y/N) breathed with a slow nod. "This is just the beginning."

The two passed through the doors. (Y/N) inhaled sharply as a sudden jolt of anxiety hit her like a tidal wave. A knot of fear twisted in her stomach. The last time she had been in a hospital was when she had fled from the one she was kept in while she slept in her coma. The smell of the medicines made her overwhelmingly uncomfortable. The sound of the machines made her heart jump frantically. Her eyes widened at the feeling before she spun around on the balls of her feet. Aizawa caught her. He now placed both of his hands on her shoulders and turned her back around.

"C'mon, Yamasaki, no turning back." Aizawa firmly stated. He did not let go. He pushed her towards the receptionist's desk.

(Y/N) let out a whimper as she neared the desk. The receptionist looked up at (Y/N), to which she flashed an awkward smile. "Hello- I mean- hi, I'm here for a DNA test." (Y/N) greeted.

The lady at the desk smiled a trained smile. "Name?" She followed.

"(Y/N) Yamasaki." (Y/N) responded, still anxious.

The receptionist visibly relaxed. "Oh, how lovely!" She beamed. "Dr. Hanson is looking forward to seeing you!"

(Y/N) raised a puzzled brow.

The receptionist dialled the phone at her desk and summoned the said doctor.

Only a minute passed before he came jogging down the corridor. "(Y/N)!" He called out. He slowed to a stop and let out a panted breath before grinning. "You must be (Y/N)." He offered a hand which (Y/N) grasped and shook.
