(Y/N) stared at UA with wide eyes. It looked exactly as it had before. It stood tall and prestigious, gleaming in the overhanging sun.
Her mind turned back to all the memories that she had experienced in the school; all the memories that made up her first year at the hero school. She thought of her first day where she'd first began to use her quirk properly; she thought of the attack on USJ; she thought of the classes she'd sat through; she thought of her tutor sessions with Todoroki in the park; she thought of moving into the dorms; everything that had transpired that brought her to this moment, standing before UA once again.
She clutched the straps of her satchel. Her eyes fell downwards and gazed upon her UA uniform which looked odd considering she had not worn it for so long. Still, she felt comfortable in it. She was meant to be wearing it.
"All okay?" A voice came from next to her.
She turned to meet Kirishima's eyes. He looked at her intently. He too wore the uniform. Even after everything, they were students again. She couldn't help but smile upon the sight of him. She nodded. "Yeah..." She breathed. "I am."
He matched her smile with a wide, toothy grin of his own. "Ready for second year then?" He offered his hand.
(Y/N) glanced at it before clasping it, interlocking their fingers tightly. She laughed, suddenly overcome with joy. She breathed in deeply, purifying her soul.
She nodded. "Ready."
Second Year, here I come. Who knows what this new year will bring?
