(Y/N) was barely aware of the group approaching. They were hazy at a distance and continued to be hazy as they got closer and escaped the relentless fog cloud. (Y/N), while aware of what was going on in her small bubble, was not able-minded to combat the outside world. There was a barrier in her mind which prevented her from acknowledging it. When staring at the approaching people, she barely recognised what was going on; she gathered a burst of green, a semblance of red peaking through the blurry shadows, but she struggled to connect the iconic colours to aspects of life that affected her.

To (Y/N), time was dragging along at a painstakingly slow pace. The figures were moving at a snail's rate. Her breaths were long and hoarse. Her heartbeat felt like a drawn-out rhythmic bong. It was only until she felt arms around her, clutching her as if she were to fade away at any moment.

She gasped at the impact of someone crashing into her. She struggled to keep steady on her feet and stumbled backwards a few steps but the person moved with her. She was still in the embrace. She couldn't fathom what the feeling was. The person pulled away but kept their hands on her biceps. They said something; she knew because the sound reverberated back and forth in her mind like a ping-pong ball, but she couldn't make out what had been said. It felt as though she were hearing the voice from behind a wall. With her lack of response, she felt the atmosphere shift. The person spoke again and (Y/N) knew their tone differed from the original words but she still could not fathom any understanding from the sound. She blinked drowsily at the figure, parting her lips to speak. With the sudden realisation of the dry feeling in her throat, she let out a shallow squeak in response which failed to ease the tension of the situation.

(Y/N) wasn't given time to react as the blurry figure in front of her was pushed out of the way. Within a second, her face was suddenly thrown to the side upon the impact of a firm hot hand slapping her across the cheek. Her sense flourished in a bloom of crystal-clear clarity. Her eyes widened and her hand shot up to cradle her burning face. She stared at the now-focused floor and heaved with shock.

"Kacchan?!" Midoriya exclaimed. His high voice pierced the static world (Y/N) was trapped in and yanked her back into reality.

"Dude, what the fuck?!" Kaminari shouted. With shocking bravery, he grabbed Bakugou by the shoulder and jerked him backwards, taking his place in front of (Y/N) and staring at her with a worried gaze. "(Y/N)?" He began cautiously. He raised his hands to cup her cheek but found his confidence wavering under the intensity of (Y/N)'s eyes on him. Instead, he rested his hand on her shoulder.

"I'm fine." (Y/N) murmured. "You-" Her eyes examined the group; to her, only Kirishima and Bakugou were present as they were the only ones she could see with them huddling around her. She knew Midoriya was present due to his exclamation but she was unaware of the others who had joined the boys in their excursion to find her. "How did you get out?" Her tone was oddly serious as if she was scolding them. "You're not- It's not safe-" She turned around with sudden panic as if expecting Shigaraki to loom over her. Instead, he was exactly where she had left him on the floor; sleeping soundly and unbeknownst to the torn world around him. She exhaled a breath of relief and turned back to her classmates who seemed wholly uninterested in the villain behind her; they were focused solely on her. "Are you all okay?" She asked meekly.
