(Y/N) looked away from her mirror upon a knock on her door. She set down the lip gloss on the side of the bathroom sink and strolled towards the door. She opened it to reveal Kirishima in the same outfit he'd worn in (B/P), though, looking at him now, she saw a far more mature man compared to who he was all those months ago, which felt like a lifetime ago. She smiled at the sight of him. "Kirishima," she greeted. "All ready?"
"You look fantastic." Kirishima breathed.
(Y/N) blinked slightly. She wore a black dress that stopped just above her silver heels. It was simple and sleek. "Thank you." She muttered. "You look great too."
"Thanks." Kirishima beamed. He offered his arm. "Ready to go?"
(Y/N) laughed and slipped her arm into his. "What a gentleman." She mused in a smooth hum as she shut the door behind her.
Kirishima's face warmed with pride. "Well, only the best for the number one hero."
(Y/N) rolled her eyes. "Stop calling me that." She grumbled.
The two began to descend the stairs towards the ground floor. As they neared, the sound of a crowd became more and more prominent. The common room was packed with Class 1A, Class 1B, Class 1C, and the Big Three from UA, and the Shiketsu First Years.
It was not long before (Y/N) split from Kirishima and went to socialise with all those who attended the party.
"(Y/N)!" Inasa greeted with a wide, beaming smile. He enveloped her in his big arms and lifted her into the air in the way he always did. "How wonderful you look!" He exclaimed.
(Y/N) giggled." Thank you!" She gleaned with a wide smile. "You're looking very handsome yourself," she hummed as she was set back down. He wore a classic black tuxedo with a pristine white shirt. It was the most popular outfit that the boys opted for. It seemed only the boys from Class 1A chose something more unique; most of whom were wearing the same outfits they'd worn in (B/P).
The party continued on with more and more greeting and socialising with all those that crowded the 1A dorms.
(Y/N) was sitting upon the kitchen counter, speaking with Kaminari, Jirou, and Tetsutetsu, when her attention was pulled towards Mina and Hagakure. They were standing on top of the sofas and clapping their hands loudly.
"Attention! Everyone! Attention!" Hagakure called out.
Slowly, the common room quietened to silence.
"We thought to celebrate the greatness of our first year at UA - sorry Shiketsu, this is not about you - we could give out some awards!" Mina held up a bag of plastic trophies with a wide gleaming smile. "And no, Yamasaki, you're not getting all of them." Mina stuck her tongue out.
(Y/N) laughed loudly at the comment.
"They're not real awards for like... I don't know, best quirk. It's just dumb stuff."
"So get ready for a lot of speeches, Kaminari!" Hagakure giggled.
Kaminari exclaimed with offense but the two girls moved on, ignoring him.
"Okay first one..." Mina mumbled. "Most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse!"
The crowd erupted into laughter.
"And the nominees are..." Hagakure began. "Izuku Midoriya! Momo Yaoyorozu! Mei Hatsume! Eijiro Kirishima! Itsuko Kendou! And Hitoshi Shinsou!" She waited for the applause to quieten. "And the award goes to... Drum roll, please... Momo Yaoyorozu!"
The audience burst into such a loud and joyful applause one would have thought the girl was winning an Oscar. Nonetheless, Yaoyorozu accepted her award with praise and elegance, posing for a photo nicely before returning to her place next to Iida and Todoroki.
"How exactly was this judged?" Kirishima shouted over the crowd.
"By us." Mina shrugged.
"Right! Next one!"
The awards went as follows:
Mostly Likely to Cause a Scene; Nominees: Katsuki Bakugou, Izuku Midoriya, (Y/N) Yamasaki, Denki Kaminari, and Neito Monoma. Winner: Katsuki Bakugou.
"WHAT?!" Bakugou screeched.
"Oh, come on, it's so obviously you!" Mina scoffed.
"I'm not accepting that award!"
"Dude, just take it." Sero chuckled.
"No!"
Hagakura flung it at him, successfully whacking him in the temple. She ignored his screams of anger.
Most Likely to be Late to Battle; Nominees: Minoru Mineta, Neito Monoma, Mina Ashido, Yugo Aoyama, and Hanta Sero. Winner: Yugo Aoyama.
Aoyama was certainly not shy about the claps and photos of him when he sauntered up to accept his award.
Most Likely to Panic First; Nominees: Minoru Mineta, Ochaco Uraraka, Denki Kaminari, Neito Monoma, and Koji Koda. Winner: Minoru Mineta.
Most Likely to Rival Another Hero; Nominees: (Y/N) Yamasaki, Katsuki Bakugou, Shoto Todoroki, Hitoshi Shinsou, and Shihai Kuroiro. Winner: Shoto Todoroki.
He was not impressed.
Most Likely to Cause Disaster; Nominees: Denki Kaminari.
There was only one nominee. It was Kaminari. The joke made the room explode with laughter, much to Kaminari's dismay who took great offense to it.
The night went on with more and more silliness. (Y/N) only received one award; Most Likely to Take the Spotlight, which was cruel considering both Monoma and Aoyama were nominated but she accepted it with a massive smile nonetheless.
As the clock switched to the early hours of the morning, the students from Shiketsu took their leave given their journey home. An hour after that, Class 1B left for their own dorms and Class 1C not far behind. Soon enough, it was just Class 1A left behind.
(Y/N) lay on the sofa with her legs on Kirishima's and her back over Kaminari's. Her eyes were closed, threatening to take her to sleep at any moment.
"That was so fun!" Uraraka exclaimed. She flopped onto the sofa and rolled onto Mina's lap. "It went by so quickly..." She murmured.
"I know." Yaoyorozu sighed. "Back in school next week."
"Don't remind me." Jirou groaned. "I just don't feel like a Second Year. It's too soon."
"I don't think so." Tsuyu rebutted with a shrug. "I think it would be weird if we were still in First Year."
"I agree." Todoroki chimed. "We've got more than enough experience to make us more qualified than the youngest year in UA."
"Oh my god, that means they're going to hold the Entrance Exam soon. How weird is that?!" Mina exclaimed.
"More heroes all over again." Kirishima hummed.
"I'm actually excited about that." Tsuyu added. "I think it will be cool to see what new quirks come to UA. Maybe UA will be more open to stranger quirks after all that's happened."
"Me too." (Y/N) sighed. "I wonder if Shinsou is gonna move to the hero course."
"I hope so!" Mina nodded. "It's only fair. He's a strong dude. He shouldn't be sidelined."
"I agree." Kirishima hummed. "Especially after everything that (Y/N)'s done."
