"I didn't think I'd find you here," A voice came from behind (Y/N), prompting (Y/N) to yelp and spin around, her hands flying up and her body tensing with worry. "Nor did I expect to find the park looking like a park. That being said, I'm certainly not disappointed."
(Y/N) exhaled a short breath and dropped her hands. "Todoroki," she greeted quietly. "What are you doing here?"
"I had no interest in watching my father try to micromanage everything and anything going on at the moment. I wanted to be alone."
"Well, I'm sorry for ruining your plans," (Y/N) smiled tinily.
Todoroki matched her small smile. "I'd take running into you over being alone."
(Y/N)'s gaze fell to the floor. "I think I want to be alone but I'm not sure that's good for me right now. Might be good to be around friends..." Her voice trailed into a silence as she turned to look down the street. "Do you know where everyone is?" She wondered.
"Last I saw Midoriya, he was with All Might. Most of them are with their families though. I know Kirishima and Mina are with yours at the moment. Waiting for you I imagine."
"And keeping Noah entertained." (Y/N) murmured to herself. She coughed slightly to clear her throat before gently biting down on her lower lip. "I should probably go see them. They think I'm still with the police. I don't want to keep them worried."
Todoroki's eyes never left (Y/N) while she continued to keep her gaze fixed sideways along the road.
"Another ten minutes couldn't hurt." Todoroki voiced, though there was a mild nervous tremor in his tone. "Did you do all this?" He waved gesturally to the grassy plain.
(Y/N) nodded, "there must be roots still beneath the ground."
"So insta-botany isn't another one of your many powers?" Todoroki quipped.
(Y/N) couldn't help but laugh. Her smile stretched across her face and her shoulders began to jump as she giggled. "I'm afraid not, no."
Todoroki's eyes softened at her reaction. Finally, he pulled his eyes from her and cast a focused look on the grass that was once dry and empty. He lifted his hands up and unleashed a staggering iceberg across the fauna. It stood rigid and frosting in the overhanging sun. (Y/N) followed his movements with a puzzled look which soon turned into one of gratefulness as the ice was attacked by scorching fire from Todoroki's left side. The ice began to drip into the soil, slowly but surely fully watering the plants.
(Y/N) smiled at the sight. "Thank you," she breathed earnestly. She turned to look at Todoroki again. "Hopefully soon it'll look just as it did before."
"Then we may resume our lessons. I'm beginning to lose touch with your language."
(Y/N)'s eyes narrowed on him. "Not a single part of me believes that."
