Lexa's POV

"I think I'm fine now, Cal." I laughed as he was catering to my every need. Its been a few days since I was sick and now we are back home. My mom knew I wasn't feeling well and I am just hoping that Calum didn't tell her about me and Luke, but she is already acting suspicious.

"Are you sure? I mean I can-" luckily my phone started ringing. I smiled brightly at my brother and reached for my phone. It was from Amy.

"Hey, Amy. Whats up?" I answered. I watched as Cal froze in his tracks. His brown eyes narrowed at mine.

"Nothing, sorry I am calling you. Is Calum there?" She said. I could practically hear the hope in her voice. I smiled deviously at my brother. He mouthed no to me, but I was going to be the best little sister.

"Yeah, he is right here. I will put you on speaker." I told her. A squeal came from the other end and I pressed the speaker button.

"Alright, go ahead." I said to her.

"Hey, Calum! I was wondering if you would want to catch a movie later tonight?" Amy was a nice girl, I don't know why Calum was avoiding her.

"Sorry, but Lexa is feeling a bit ill. I should stay and take care of her." Calum said. He was rubbing his nose.

"Oh." Amy sounded disappointed. I felt bad for her.

"You know what, Amy, I can just have Luke or mom watch over me. Calum will be there, I promise." I said into the phone.

"No way?!" She shrieked. I laughed and watched as Calum was mouthing cuss words.

"Sure thing, I'm going to have him get ready. Stop by when you're ready." I smiled.

"Thank you so much, Lexa!" She squealed before hanging up.

"Why would you do that?" Cal growled at me. I smirked and leaned back in my bed, my phone still in my hand.

"Because you would die a lonely man without me. Now go get ready!" I shooed him away from me. He groaned and left the room.

Proud with myself, I turned on the tv and watched the news. There was nothing interesting happening around where we lived, so I turned the channel to the Disney channel and left it.

After almost three episodes of Girl Meets World, I felt myself drift into a sleep.

I was sitting in my school cafeteria. The sounds of people talking was the only thing to be heard. I looked down and there was no food on my plate. I must have finished it.

"Luke!" I heard someone squeal amongst the loudness. I turned my head and there they were. All my friends and Luke were sitting at our normal spot.

I frowned and stood from my spot. I started walking towards them. A girl had her arms slung around Luke's neck. She looked similar to me. My hair, my eyes, my smile. But she was missing something. My dimples.

"Baby!" The girl whined into Luke's ear. I felt my blood run hot. I balled my fist and continued to walk towards them.

"Susie, come on. Stop." Luke laughed. Susie? I ran over to her and raised my hand to pull her hair, but my hand went right through. She didn't feel a thing. I went over to slap Luke, but just like before my hand went through him.

"Luke Robert Hemmings!" I yelled but he seemed to not hear me. I felt myself cry. "Luke!" I kept screaming out.

"Lexa?" Someone called for me. It was none of my friends. They were too interested in whatever Susie had to say.

"Lexa." The voice became louder.

"Lexa!" I woke up with a start. My mom shook me gently. I groaned and rolled onto my side.
"Mom, oh my God. I had the worst dream." I said softly.

"I can tell. You are all pale, Lexa." Her eyes grew wide and I became worried. Quickly, I got up from my bed and looked at my reflection. She was right. This is the palest I have ever seen myself.

"Where is Cal?" I decide to dismiss my color for a second.

"He went on his date. I didn't know he had a girlfriend." She told me. I laughed and managed my way back to my bed.

"He doesn't. I had to force him to go on this date." I smiled.

"Why didn't you and Luke go with him, ya know? A double date?" She asked me. I shrugged and covered myself back under the blanket.

"I'm sure he doesn't want his little sister there." I said to her. She nodded as if she understood and stood to leave the room. My eyes settled back to my tv.

"Oh, Lex?" My mom stoppedan d turned around.

"Yeah, mom?" I questioned.

"You're not pregnant are you?" I was taken aback by her question. "I know you and Luke probably do stuff, but I just want to let you know that I'm not ready to be a grandma. Not yet." I felt my cheeks flush red.

"I'm not pregnant, mom. I promise you." I lied. Truth is, I might be and I would never know. Not until four days, when I was supposed to take the test again. My mom gave me a sad smile and left the room.

"Be ready for school tomorrow! So don't stay up late!" She called.

"Will do!" I yelled back.
