Madison's pov
Rehearsal was coming to an end and I could feel Lexa becoming more anxious.
"Do you want to have a sleepover after rehearsal?" I asked. "Just the two of us? We haven't done that in a while." I said giving a light smile.
"That actually sounds perfect right now." She smiled brightly. I've always been envious of her. She refuses to accept it, but she's pretty damn close to perfect. The way Lexa and I talk about each other, people assume we're secretly lesbian. I assure you we're not, we're just really close friends, but if I was let me tell you, I'd tap that. I mean honestly she's flawless, she's tall, but not freakishly. Her body is well built, she's not scrawny, but she's not thick either, I'd describe her as muscular. Her eyes are brown, but when she talks about something she loves, like dance, they have this sparkle to them but, lately they've just seemed so dull. I thought it was because Luke was gone, but it seems like so much more.
The boys finished there rehearsal with "Beside You" then came and squished on the couch.
"There's like 6 different chairs in here yet we all choose to sit on this one." I laughed as Ashton pulled me onto his lap.
"Because this couch is the best." Luke laughed doing the same to Lexa. Michael sat between us leaving Calum looking around awkwardly before finally deciding on sitting on Michael's lap.
"We need girlfriends." Calum sighed trying to get comfortable.
"That'll be hard." Ashton mumbled but we all heard and began to laugh.
"Calum is my girlfriend." Michael said wrapping his arms around Calum. Calum snuggled into Michael and wrapped his arms around his neck.
"I love you Mikey." Calum smiled.
"You guys are pathetic." Lexa said breaking into laughter. She rocked back and forth laughing even harder after she snorted.
"She snorts and can get a boyfriend, I'm normal and can't get a girlfriend... what the actual fuck?" Lexa stopped laughing and stuck her tongue out at Calum.
"You're just mad because you're ugly." She mumbled and settled into Luke's arms. I tried focusing on her more to see if her body language gave off any hints of why she was upset but the only thing I could come up with is she missed Luke.
"You ok?" Ashton asked me wrapping me tighter.
"Yeah I'm fine." I lied faking a smile.
"You seem really uneasy." If anyone knows me as much as Lexa, it's Ashton. We've always kind of just clicked. The first time we met was at a school concert. Lexa and I were going to be freshman and wanted to see the school so we begged Mikey and Cal to take us. After being forced by our mothers they dragged us along. We met many of their friends, but Ashton stuck out to me. I basically followed him around my whole freshman year, he was a Junior at the time. He thought he was just helping me out when in reality I was planning our future and scribbling his name in all my notebooks. The next year us walking the halls together just kind of became natural. It was his senior year so he had girlfriend after girlfriend which eventually made me depressed. I tried dating but I kept being reminded he wasn't Ashton. After my third boyfriend I gave up and went back to stalking him. After graduation he had a pool party at his house. That was the night my dream came true. ASHTON FREAKING IRWIN ASKED ME ON A DATE. Then at the beginning of my Junior year he asked me to be his girlfriend. We've been dating for a year now and I wouldn't want it any other way.
"I'm fine babe." I tried giving another fake smile but he wasnt having it.
"We'll be right back." He announced taking my hand and leading me upstairs.
"No babies please." Luke yelled after us.
"Dude what the fuck, thats my sister." I heard Michael slap him. "Ashton, I swear to God, I'll kill you." He threatened, but Ashton just laughed. He led me up another flight of stairs and to a room he was staying in.
"Sit." He instructed pointing to a bed. I obeyed and sat on the edge.
"I got you something while I was away, since I missed our anniversary." He smiled digging through his bag.
"Ashton you really didn't have to." I smiled biting my lip. Truth is I was hoping he did so he wouldn't feel bad when I handed him the small box I had sitting under my bed.
"Yes I did." He smiled, walking towards me with a box in his hand. He handed me the box then sat next to me wrapping his arms around my waist. I opened the box and say a bracelet with charms and it. There was a music note, a star, a locket, and a full with an engravement on it. I held it in my hand and read to the moon and back. That's always been our thing.
"Ashton, its gorgeous." I smiled with tears in my eyes.
"And look." He said excited pulling out his key chain showing me a charm. "I've got the key." He said referring to the locket.
"I love you." I smiled throwing ny arms around him.
"I love you too." He said placing a small kiss on my lips.
"To where?" I challenged. He gave me a small laugh while rolling his eyes.
"To the moon and back." He laughed giving me another kiss. "Now lets go before they think we're doing the naughty." He winked grabbing my hand. When we opened the door everyone was standing in the hallway.
"We're you spying on-" I began but was interupted but Calum's obnoxiousness.
"Awh Ashy's got a soft side."
"I love you to the moon and back." Michael mimicked in a very girly voice.
"Damn Ashton where'd your man card go." Luke laughed along with them.
"Oh dont get me started on missing man cards Lucas." Lexa threatened as the other boys continued to laugh. "That was adorable Ashton." She smiled. Most guys would be worried about stuff like that happening, but it doesnt bother Ashton and for that, I love him even more.
