Lexa's POV

Two days. I have been in here two days. They did in fact find something wrong with my liver, but they said it was easily fixable. I had my surgery yesterday and I am to stay here for a couple more nights.

"Your go." Calum says. He has been staying over night with me because mom has work and Madison got in trouble for fighting, but she comes over during the daytime.

I picked up a card from the pile and stared at it. "Ha!" I smiled and flashed him my card. It had a lollipop on it. "I'm closer to winning."

"I'm never playing Candy Land with you again." He says. I gave him a quick smirk and placed my blue gingerbread man on his rightful spot.

"Cal, have you talked to Luke?" I questioned.

"Nope." He took a card from the deck. I bit my cheek and looked around my room which was full of stuffed bears and balloons and flowers from family and friends. None of them are from Luke though.

"I just thought he would have said or done something by now. He doesn't even care I am in this hellhole." I started to cry.

"Hey, don't cry." Calum grabbed my hand. "I know he was your first love, Lex, but people go through break ups. Luke is a douche for letting you go. You are probably the best thing that could ever happen to his life. He obviously made a mistake." He tries to comfort me.

"I know, but I blew things out of proportion. It was like I had feelings I didn't even know about. Like someone posessed my body and said those things for me. It was crazy." I tried to explain, but I knew I sounded out if it.

"Don't let Luke get you down. You can always find another six foot blonde guy. One that makes you happier." Thats impossible.

"Thanks, Calum. Want to play another game?" I asked as I just won in Candy Land.

"How about we watch Netflix instead?" He asked and pulled his laptop from his bag.

"We have to finish watching Reign." I laughed. Calum agreed and squeezed into the empty space of the bed. He set the laptop on both of our laps and allowed me to rest my head on his shoulders.

After two episodes I started falling asleep.

"Bout time." A voice said. I looked around me but all I could see was darkness.

"What?" I questioned loudly.

"You are stuck in the hospital and your boyfriend is meeting up with some chick at this moment. How does that make you feel?" The voice said. Her voice was like honey. Like a sweet elevator voice.

"What are you going on about?" I asked her.

"Luke is on his way to meet a girl right now. At that diner just down the street. Isn't that where you guys had your first kiss? Its a pity he might be kissing someone else there now." She told me.

"You're lying!" I yelled loudly.

"Don't believe me? Find out for yourself!" She laughed wickedly.

My eyes shot open and Calum was clinging to my body. I felt cramped with the long boy taking up most of the bed. I reached for my phone and called Ashton.

"Lexa? Its almost midnight. You should be resting." He said immediately.

"Yeah I know. Is Luke home?" I asked quickly.

"No? He hasn't been home all day." He told me. I felt my heart sink and I tried to think of something.

"I need you to do something for me. Please?" I pleaded.

"What is it?" Ashton sounded suspicious.

"I need you to go pick up Madison and head over to Lucy's Diner." I say.

"Madison is grounded and why to a diner? If you are hungry ask the nurse to bring you food." Ashton said. I rolled my eyes and continued on.

"Madison can sneak out and because I think Luke is meeting with someone. Please, Ashton, do this for me. I hardly ask you for any favors. I would do it for you!" I exclaimed. Calum started to move and I got scared I was going to wake him. He doesn't need to be any more angry at Luke than he already is.

"Fine. I'll tell Madison. Then we will stop by the hospital and tell you what we seen? Okay?" He asks me.

"Perfect. Thank you!" I said into the phone.

"Anytime." Ash replied.
