Lexa's POV

One more day in here. Then I am released. I turned my attention to my brother who was sleeping on the couch. Thank God for him.

"Lex?" The familiar voice made me go cold. I turned my head and there was Luke. He was wearing his hoodie and in his hands were balloons and a bag.

"I brought you food. You must be starving." He set the bag down next to me. I smelled funnel cake.
"Thanks." My voice was raspy and almost dead. There was no life to it.

"I need to tell you something," his eyes adverted to Cal, "And you can't get mad or cuss me out yet." Shit. This wasn't going to be good.

"The day after our fight I went on a date." Alright. That hurt. I didn't even know we were broken up like that. A sharp pain in my chest burst through. I wanted to cry, but I was all cried out. There was nothing left. "I went on a date with Jaycee." That was like a fucking shot to the heart. I bit my lip to stop any tears and I looked out the window. "It didn't mean anything, Lex. I only did it because I tried to get you off my mind but I couldn't. Whenever she said my name all I could hear was your voice. Whenever she tried to hold my hand I thought of your hands. When she kissed me, I felt your body." I don't know how, but that softened the blow.

"I love you, Lexa Hood. Only you. I can't forgive myself because I should have never yelled at you. I should have defended you. I shouldn't have been talking to Jaycee at all. I should have been here for you, but I wasn't. I know, I am the worst boyfriend probably ever and I don't deserve a second chance. Not at all, but I am begging you for one." He finished. I saw a tear slip down his cheek and somehow I was the one hurting. I reached over and wiped away the tear.

"You are such an asshole." I whispered right before I connected our lips. I felt the cold metal of his lip ring against my lip. The surge of electricity rush through my body.

"I'm so sorry, Lexa. I am so sorry." He whispered.

"Shut up." I said and kissed him once more. His hand went to the back of my head.

"When you get out of here I swear to God," he growled in my ear. I blushed wildly and felt my insides burn.

"Luke?" The voice of Calum broke us apart.

"Uhm, hey Cal." Luke scratched the back of his head nervously.

"I thought I told you to stay away from my sister." Calum growled.

"Cal, its fine. We made up." I said calmly, hoping that this wouldn't turn into a fight.

"Just like that? You guys are back together?" Cal eyed me suspiciously. If he only knew what I was going through he would understand.

"Yes, Cal. Please, just forget it?" I pleaded.

"I swear to God, Hemmings. The next time you hurt my baby sister I will tear you into pieces. I promise that." Luke looked genuinely scared. I stiffled a laugh and put my hair into a ponytail.

"I won't do it again. I promise." Luke said nervously. I smiled and took his hands into mine. Calum glared at Luke before leaving the room.

"I missed you, short stuff." Luke told me.

"I missed you too, skyscraper. Now hand me that funnel cake. I've been starving ever since I got in here." I laughed. He handed me a box and I greedily snatched the dessert from it.

"So, was Jaycee a good kisser?" I decided to make light of the situation.

"No. Nothing compared to you." He smiled. I laughed and shook my head.

"Can I tell you a secret?" I bit my lip and smiled.

"Of course." He laughed.

"I want to have sex again." I laughed.

"I thought this day would never come. Tomorrow, I promise." He winked and kissed me.
