~Harry's POV~

Christmas comes and goes and things are getting worse at Hogwarts. Where it used to be fun and games between lessons, and we could walk around with loose ties and our shirt untucked, now the rules are so strict that girls and boys aren't allowed to stand within two feet of each other. This isn't such a problem for me but Ben and Hollie, and Bella and Edward are hating it.

On the third day of the second week back after Christmas, everyone seems to be in a hurry so I join them.

"What's going on?" I ask Cho.

"It's Professor Trelawney."

We all hurry into the courtyard where Trelawney is standing there and Filch is bringing a trunk to her, adding to the two she already had next to her.

She sits down on the large one as Umbridge comes out and approaches her.

"Sixteen years I've lived and taught here," Trelawney says, sadness in her voice. "Hogwarts is my home. You can't do this."

"Actually I can," Umbridge says as she holding up a piece of paper.

McGonagall appears and goes over to Trelawney as the strange teacher we've all come to know and love cries.

"Something you'd like to say?" Umbridge asks as McGonagall comforts the other teacher.

"Oh, there are several things I would like to say."

A door opens and Dumbledore enters.

"Professor McGonagall, might I ask you to escort Sybil back inside?" he requests.

"Sybil, dear," McGonagall says. "This way."

"Thank you," she says as they pass the headmaster.

"Dumbledore, may I remind you that under the terms of Educational Decree Number 23, as enacted by the Minister..."

"You have the right to dismiss my teachers," he says. "You do not, however, have the authority to banish them from the grounds. That power remains with the headmaster."

"For now."

He turns to leave.

"Don't you all have studying to do?" he shouts.

As the students begin to disperse, I try going after Dumbledore but I lose him.

~Hollie's POV~

"That foul, evil, old gargoyle," Hermione says, back in the common room. "We're not learning how to defend ourselves. We're not learning how to pass our OWLs. She's taking over the entire school."

We hear the Minister on the radio so Harry turns it up.

"Security has been and will remain the Ministry's top priority. Furthermore, we have convincing evidence that these disappearances are the work of notorious mass murder Peter Pettigrew."

We hear Sirius' voice and crackling so we go over to the fireplace.

"What are you doing here?" Bella asks.

"Answering your letter. You said you were worried about Umbridge. What's she doing? Training you to kill half-breeds?"

"She's not letting us use magic at all," Harry says.

"Well, I'm not surprised. The latest intelligence is that Fudge doesn't want you trained in combat."

"Combat?" Ron asks. "What does he think, we're forming some sort of wizard army?"

"Has Rebel spoken to you?"

"Yes," Bella says.

"What has Rebel got to do with this?" Hermione asks.
