~Harry's POV~

The next morning, we pack away the tent and everything we need in case we have to make a quick getaway and then I place the locket on a rock.

"You first," Hermione says to me.

"Dissendium."

The locket bounces off the rock and lands on the ground but it's still intact.

"Incendio," Hermione says and it bounces again, still no harm has befallen it.

"Expulso," Hollie shouts – still nothing.

"Diffindo," Ben shouts. Nothing!

"Reducto," Ginny shouts.

"It's not working," Ron says.

I blast it, once, twice, three times, a fourth but it still remains intact so I pick it up and put it round my neck.

"What are you doing?" Hollie asks.

"We have to keep it safe until we find out how to destroy it."

"Seems strange, mate," Ben says. "Dumbledore sends you off to find all these Horcruxes but doesn't tell you how to destroy them. Doesn't that bother you?"

I sigh and walk away.

I'm sitting on the rock with Ginny as Ron listens to the radio, which we can all hear.

The radio crackles and makes me jump.

"That blasted thing," I curse.

"It comforts him," Hermione says.

"It sets my teeth on edge. What's he expecting to hear, good news?"

"I think he just hopes he doesn't hear bad news."

I stand but then Ginny jumps to her feet.

"Wait, I have an idea."

She goes to her bag.

"Emberlee," she says before pulling out a parchment and unfolding it.

"What's that?" Ron asks.

"It's similar to the Marauder's map."

"Ubi est, Arthur Weasley, Molly Weasley, Charlie Weasley, Fleur Isabelle Weasley, William Arthur Weasley, Fred Weasley and George Weasley."

All the dots that were on the map disappear leaving only seven.

"What happened?" Ron asks. "Is that everyone?"

"Yes, this map only shows living people around the world."

"At least they're alive but we don't know if they're safe," Ron says.

"No, but if we keep checking they're alive, at least we know," Ginny says.

"How long until Ron can travel?" I ask Hermione.

She gives me a look and I huff.

"I'm doing everything I can," she says.

"You're not doing enough!" I shout before I walk past her.

"Take it off," she demands so I stop and look back at her.

"I said, take it off now."

I do as she says and the anger fades. I hand it to her.

"Better?"

"Loads."

She looks at the locket.

"We'll take it in turns, okay?"
