After tucking Tree into bed and caring for him, I sat down at my computer to play some of my favorite video games, Call of Duty and Warzone. I booted up my PC and started playing. Although my arm slightly ached from carrying Tree over my shoulder the day before, I still played a couple of games of Warzone and a bit of Call of Duty. I played until it was about two in the morning. I'm used to pulling all-nighters every now and then, but tonight, I seemed a bit more tired than usual, probably due to the fact that I didn't drink any energy drinks beforehand. I decided to call it a day on gaming after about an hour and went to bed for the night.
"Is Tree going to be okay?" I questioned myself before hazily falling asleep. I figured that Tree would be just fine, considering the quality treatment he got at the doctor's office yesterday.
I woke up to the sound of rattling outside my room.
"That's weird... Tree is usually a heavy sleeper. He never gets up at this time," I pondered.
I creaked open the door to see Tree standing outside my door with his basket of laundry. It stretched at least four feet high with clothes alone.
"Hey peasant, I request some adequate service. Please do my laundry," Tree said in an elegant voice. He didn't bring his crutches over since he could walk just fine without them.
"Yes, Your Majesty." I played along, slightly sighing since I was rather groggy this morning. Since it was five in the morning, I only got two hours of sleep last night.
I carried the laundry bin down the stairs and stuffed the clothes inside the washer. I bet Tree was going to take advantage of his broken ankle since I used to boss him around all the time when I got a sports injury. After stuffing the laundry inside the washer, I carried my laundry bin down the stairs, which had about an eighth of the clothing that Tree's laundry bin had. It was the morning and I already wanted to go back to sleep.
After doing the laundry, I heard a glass shatter downstairs. I thought the worst had happened and Tree somehow got injured. I sprinted down the stairs, landing with a face plant at the bottom of the stairs. I brushed it off, got up, and kept running. I came into the kitchen to see Tree sitting patiently at the dining room table. He had a faint smirk on his face as he saw me.
"Oh, dear! It seems I dropped my cup of water on the floor. I request you to clean it up and pour me a new one." Tree snidely exclaimed.
I sarcastically stared at Tree with a slight frown.
"Yes Master Tree," I spoke with a hint of sarcasm. This guy was already getting on my nerves despite it being only two hours into the day.
I wiped the spilled water up with my tank top since the towels were getting washed along with our clothes. While I was wiping the spilled liquid, I saw Tree silently giggling at the sight of me doing all his work. I then got a cup and poured him some more water. He thanked me with an elegant smile. This is going to be a long day.
Roughly five minutes after I gave Tree his water, I heard Tree call for me. I was about to load into another Warzone game so I canceled the queue and left my room.
"What do you want?" I rudely stated.
"I have another task for you." Tree called.
At this point, I was getting a little angry. Tree was using me for everything today. I moped down the stairs and saw Tree holding his breakfast. He made some waffles and a smoothie.
"I request you feed me my food while I watch the news." Tree started not long before laughing maniacally.
"Okay, you've crossed the line bro. Under no circumstance am I feeding you your breakfast like a baby!" I snapped. I was pretty angry by now considering the fact Tree interrupted my gaming session.
